Ironically, Washington Post, the Jeff Bozos-owned news station which wrote the publicly-lambasted "Russian propaganda list" article, has a history of printing propaganda, itself, and has just done it again:

 

"The CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system, according to officials briefed on the matter."

 

Wow, that's a strong and exact statement.

 

However, the New York Times, reporting on the exact same CIA assessment, writes that the assessment panel only has a “high confidence” that Russia was involved, while Reuters, reporting on the same CIA assessment, writes "Intelligence agencies did not have specific intelligence showing the Kremlin directed the individuals to pass the hacked emails to WikiLeaks," and also, “A senior U.S. official said there remained minor disagreements among intelligence officials about the assessment because some questions are unanswered.”

 

 

OK... so which is it? Well, again, anything less than True is False, and the NYT and Reuters reporting invalidates the Washington Post's assertion, and renders it as False. So... is it then false propaganda for Washington Post to say that the CIA concluded that Russia intervened to help Trump win the 2016 USA federal election? Yes, it is.

Also, the USA House of Representatives just passed HR 6393, allowing funding to combat what it perceives to be Russian propaganda (though no examples of which information has been Russian propaganda have been given), and the EU parliament just passed a resolution to create "tools" to  "counter Russian propaganda."

 

So, both the USA and the EU have publicly declared that they are engaged in anti-Russia propaganda, which naturally means that allegations that come from the West and that are aimed towards Russia are non-trustworthy, by default, because the West has, amazingly, openly announced that it is conducting a disinformation campaign against Russia. What does that disinformation look like? Well, it looks just like the "CIA has concluded" statement.

Either way you end up with a "ministry of truth", which is a horrible idea either way. Government run or not, it won't be trustworthy because sooner or later, someone (Hillary and the Democrats) will try to subvert it to push their own agenda. All of the "fake news" during this election, was coming entirely from the left side of the political spectrum.

Should be considered illegal? They flat out ARE illegal. The FBI director flat out said, to congress, "if it were anyone else". Why didn't he go after her? Because he doesn't want to end up mysteriously committing suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head twice (that's actually a case that happened, involving someone who was close the the Clintons. Somehow a person was able to commit "suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head, twice", because that's actually physically possible somehow.)

 

Go watch the entire hearing committee interview with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence Inspector General. They found emails in her service, that at the time were designated ORCONN, which means "Originator Controlled". Meaning that the agency who created the documents, deems them so sensitive that only that agency can give people permission to access the documents. They're so sensitive that the ODNI-IG, couldn't even give them to congress, and couldn't even tell congress who actually created them, by law

So, are these basically every public claim that the CIA has made in recent history, which have all been found to be False? If the CIA were in the business of providing not-winning lottery numbers, they'd be a massive hit.

The problem isn't so much with the existence of "fake news" instead it's with the fact that there is little difference between "fake news" and "real news".  The american media outlets have lost all credibility and concepts like "journalistic integrity" are foreign to them.

 

Fake news outlets have existed for a while now, but they've largely been slanted in favor of the left; with sites like Dailykos, Daily Dot, and Addicting info being some of the more popular ones. 

 

However now that members on the right have gotten into the game it is now suddenly a major issue.

 

Personally i am still going to stick with local news outlets and foreign outlets; as those seem to be the most reliable.

I hope that many people will watch this truth-bomb during a UN press conference December 9th, from Canadian journalist Eva Bartlett, who has been to Aleppo many times in recent years, about the reality of MSM concerning Syria:

 

She's answering a Norwegian reporter's question about MSM reports of atrocities in Eastern Aleppo, and asking "how can you justify calling all of us liars?"

Excerpts from her response:


"International organizations on the ground. Tell me which ones are on the ground in Eastern Aleppo. [no reply from the Norwegian reporter, long silence]... Yeah, OK, I'll tell you: There are none.

She further lambasts Western MSM about Syria while answering other questions, and says that the Russian presentation of Syria is generally in-line with Syrian media, and with reports from independent people on the ground. As I quoted her as mentioning earlier, the Western MSM has no sources actually within Eastern Aleppo.

So what if a mentally unwell individual fired off a gun? He probably saw the images on their accounts where they had children duct tapped to tables and finally slid off the cracker. Regardless people will do things like this regardless of information authenticity and you are naive if you believe otherwise. The actions of a mentally unstable man does not automatically means news is false nor should it give liberals the right to dictate what is real or not real news. As I previously stated, MSM said that Hillary's server news was "fake news" before it finally came from sources they would believe. That is but one example that started off with the verbal leaks of man that was instantly condemned as false but months later turned out to be 100% true. If they had their way, they would have had that censored and no one would have known it was fact.

 

That is but one example that shows censorship of what is taken as false news is an extremely ignorant move simply because it could be just like the server issue later on. Removing news even if you disagree with it or because you think it is false, or even if it is truly "false", is still censorship and is not and never will be a solution.

If spreading disinformation is illegal, then you are already in big trouble since all that matters then is who decides what information is. 

 

What you're suggesting with the guy in Washington DC with the gun at the pizza place is equivalent to suggesting that video games cause kids to commit acts of violence.  You'll also suggest the mere existence of the gun is dangerous.  You will interject just about anything to come up with a reason to justify silencing other people.  "Safety" has been the excuse made to imprison or outright kill people in many, many countries, including countries who claim to be free - like the US.  I guess next you will suggest the harvesting of human organs from people who dissent much like they do in China.
