For those of you who need this much power in a laptop and every feature and gimmick ever made.

Expect a very large price tag.

Interesting fact, this is only 1.25 Litres smaller than the DAN case Luke just reviewed.

At what point does a laptop become too big to be practical?

I think is kinda pointless a laptop like that. Sure gaming laptops are a thing but this is overkill IMO

Announced for quite a while now. And Eurocom is not the only ones doing it, look at Sager, XMG, Mythlogic, Origin PC, Aftershock PC, PC Specialist, they are all using the same Clevo P870DM series of barebones notebooks.

13 plus pounds.

At this point, it may be heavy, but at least it doesn't look like that fucking thing Asus is making. This, could at least go on your laptop ( would probably kill it from heat ) but it could work.

I'm actually quite the fan.  A desktop anywhere you go, effectively.  Without it weighing 75lb's like most desktops.  15-ish pounds is still pretty light.  Could lug that around on my back all day or just hold it.

Do you still use a ton of hard drives?! What PC weighs 75 pounds? Even with 4 graphics cards and a water loop my PC never broke 60.

Battery life - 20 s at max load :D

Computer users fall into two groups:
those that do backups
those that have never had a hard drive fail.

It makes no sense at all. It's too heavy to be truly portable and the battery life must be abysmal. This would only be an ok choice for a lan party, but those aren't really a thing anymore. Besides who needs sli 1080s on a laptop? It's way overkill for 1080p (even at 120hz) and on a 17" screen running at 4k doesn't give you as much of a benefit. A laptop also forces you to sit in a way that is uncomfortable for playing games unless you're bringing a separate keyboard, and even then the monitor height is fixed and low.

Most desktops? Not even close. A small form factor desktop is probably only heavier than this "laptop" by 1 or 2 kg. But then you get all the downsides, the awkward keyboard-screen positioning and the heat on the palms.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Pfft. Need 8 480mm rads in a 900d with 4 graphics card and 16 hdds.

Wait, that still won't do it.

Actually that might take you up to 100 with the rads, blocks, and the water.

better of building your own ITX rig, you couldn't have that laptop on your lap anyway.

That's a notebook you are describing. Laptops were meant to be able to sit on your lap and this one can do it very well.

Do you really want something that gets hot under load and weighs 12 pounds sitting on your lap?
