it's certainly.... striking design. most of what you're paying for is the labor and that unique case, anyways. and wow, a 1300 watt PSU?

There is room for dual channel memory.
and those aren't rx480 cards, they are Fury X cards

Well the image says Fury X to me. Pretty sure rx 480 doesn't have 2 8-pins and water cooling.

Yeah it looks like a Fury,after doing some snooping i think the site messed up and said RX 480's,its up to dual fury x's and gtx 1080's

Looks like maingear has teamed up with HP to make custom models. https://www.maingear.com/custom/desktops/omenx/index.php
HP offers the barebones case for $600, and some websites mention that HP offers $1800 and $3000 models, or something like that.

The only thing those OEMs can do is that making a "beast looking case" to attract those not so techie customers.

 

Any one who can/know how to build a pc for themselves will not buy those PC ever.

I wonder if this concept just came out of a bored engineer at HP that wanted to charge a companion cube to the company.
