There was an Alton Sterling thread where a discussion about state violence against innocent people was being discussed.  I have been holding back from posting there.  I thought I might just post there for about a week or two to show innocent people being actively attacked by the state every day, but I stopped after a few incidents.  The community therapist guy that just got shot by police... after he was shot he asked the officer:  Sir, why did you shoot me?  The officer replied:  I don't know.  They made up a story now pointing to the officer's "bad marksmanship".  He was really aiming for the severely autistic man holding a fucking toy truck. 

 

The systemic bigotry is very real.  The systematic action to focus on minority groups by police is very real.  The people that drive this hate toward african american (and others) communities make up a large portion Donald Trump supporters.  A delegate just got her republican credentials revoked the other day for tweeting that officers will snipe niggers protesting outside.  Just stupid shit.

While I agree with or understand most of what you said, can you really blame it all on the right though when the left let themselves be taken over by SJWs that are just as ignorant, just as bigoted, just as hateful, etc? 

 

There's little difference to me between "Fuck all mexican immigrants!" and "Fuck all cis white males" to me since well, except for the cis part it all applies to me anyways.

And to be completely honest here, I'd still rather have a complete moron in office, who at least is going to do what he says; than a pathological liar, thief, and criminal out for no one else but themselves, and who is willing to do what ever it takes, and take what ever bribes are hinted at them.

Trump has flip flopped on most major issues for decades. He hasn't even managed to stick with a single party(or two parties for that matter).

Trump is Trump, I don't think there's much to say really. He's always been like that and there have always been people like him. The only change is that recently there have been people willing to vote for someone like him. Previously that sort of candidate/party wouldn't have been electable. Not so much now. And this is a global thing in response to globalisation and terrorism. In countries with other voting systems this has meant the rise of a third party on the right. In the UK there was UKIP, in Australia there was Palmer United and then One Nation. In the US it doesn't work like that. It's either Red or Blue. So the Republican base has hijacked the party.

 

Does Trump know what he's going to do? Well no. Neither do his supporters really. But he's saying all the things people on the right want to hear. I don't know what his policies are (does anyone?) but I do know what these parties have asked for in Australia. On the economy it's the talking points of the left but with less ability to pay for it. More welfare, more services, more spending but without increasing taxes. On social policy it's whatever the right has previously done but with all the subtlety of an out of control road-train.

I'd say mostly because the leftists are generally sheep with no actual clue of what is going on, that readily believe the misinformation and lies that the DNC puts out. Just look through that email leak a bit and see the truth for what it is.

 

Trump is a wild card, and thus is scary to the establishment of both the left and the right. Because he could make them look very bad (not that they haven't done that themselves already).

 

Personally, I would like to see everyone jump on the libertarian band wagon. We need a third party in this country, that's never been more clear than it is now. The GOP can't stop trump because he's a populist, and will say/do anything that gets him as many votes as possible. The dem's just aren't going to win because Hillary is the worst candidate possible. Her reputation is entirely negative to anyone who's even remotely informed, and the email leak just proves that the DNC doesn't care about people, they care only about enforcing their own agenda and distorting reality to match it. Yeah the GOP are the same, but we've known that for years now.

 

People need to wake up and see that neither party gives a flying fuck about anything but their own power, money, and agenda. Nothing more. Stop the mentality of "well no one will vote for a third party candidate", it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Since the United States' president has a considerable amount of power even outside of the US, having him in that position is a horrible prospect for everyone. Now, Hillary Clinton obviously isn't an angel either, however I think she is sensible enough to not damage the US' relationships with other countries and hold a semi repsectable facade above the shady stuff.

 

Since it comes down to those two at this point it's about damage control, and Trump is the most dangerous of the two.
