  1. Thank you for your useful and edifying opinion! But all sarcasm aside, no need to post if you have no intention of taking the product seriously.
  2. IPS for good color reproduction. 4k for sharper images. You pick which is better for watching videos.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but $325 for a set of EL-8s is a pretty sweet deal for anyone who's looking into trying a pair of planars. http://slickdeals.net/f/9156739-audeze-el-8-open-back-planar-magnetic-headphones-with-mic-and-standard-cable-refurbished-324-99-w-25-off-200-masterpass-promo-fs-newegg
  4. How much cash do you have to spend on an upgrade? If you have <$300, just just a RX 480 or GTX 1060. You might hit a bit of bottlenecking, but it should still be fine. Especially if your goal is to just play games at 1080p. Otherwise, a new CPU would be a good investment for the future, but if you do that, I'm sure most people here would suggest getting an Intel CPU (at least until we see what AMD's got going with Zen), so you'd need a new mobo as well. Something like an i5 + any mobo for around $300 would give you enough headroom to get a much better GPU when you have more cash in the futu
  5. Except that card still doesn't overclock any better than its cheaper counterparts... It just hits higher frequencies out of the box. Even in that review, they couldn't keep a stable 2.1GHz clock.
  6. Really no reason to get a 980ti unless you can get one cheap
  7. For 1080p (if you don't plan on upgrading for a while), a single GTX 1060 or RX 480 should suffice. As for a case, I'm a bit of a Fractal Design fan, since their cases are minimalistic and clean.
  8. I'm pretty sure the Nokia Lumia 1020 has the best camera (in terms of actual hardware). But not many people are willing to use a Windows phone, so...
  9. I believe Witcher 3 is at that price.
  10. Honestly, he's a troll. I love it :v
  11. This sounds about right. I don't think there's a single game that fully recreates realistic physics yet.
  12. Hey everyone, I'm deciding between the two headphones mentioned in the title. I found deals for both at $275 and $270 respectively. For anyone who's had the opportunity to listen to both, which would you recommend? I'm getting them for my dad, who primarily listens to, as Linus calls it, Top-40 trash. Also, what amps would go well with each? I'd say my budget is approx. $400, which leaves only about $125-130 for an amp (not much, unfortunately). I know the TH500RP needs a lot of juice to power, so even if I purchase them, would I be able to buy anything good enough with my budget? As for
  13. And even if you managed to get all the parts to fit, you'd run the risk of it all going up in smoke (cuz hot computer parts inside a bag that'll most likely be some type of fabric is a huge fire hazard).
