I know, that's a lot, sorry:) I'm thinking about buying from Amazon.de, found this: link on sale..maybe I'm going to order this.

None of those should be powering an RX 480 really.

The Cooler Master MWE is probably the best bet of those.

No they aren't. Your idea of what is expensive is backwards.

You can spend 50 on a terrible PSU or 58 on a good PSU.

That's all the reason you really should need to spend 8 Euros more.

Yes and extend the Life of your components.

If you want new PC after 2 or 3 years, go for the cheap PSU.

If you want new PC after 10 years or so, get the good PSU..

Hey everyone, I found an used FSP Hyper S 500W with more than 2 years warranty, the shop gives 3 years so it must be in a good shape, the price is €38 with shipping. Hmm..is it a good deal? I don't know.

It's not a good unit. Get a CX450/M, Cooler Master MasterWatt, anything to power an RX 480 that won't require home insurance.

Well, if you constantly ask and ignore the advice, its expected to happen.

And there are still people who don't understand the Value of a Miele Washing machine. Although they are expensive, they are built very well and usually last for a decad or two.

Its the same shit with everything, if you're not willing to pay for stuff, it either won't last or even cause harm, wich happens with the cheapest of the cheap stuff on a regular basis...

And here we have someone that looks for the biggest deal in history...

But that is just impossible. You can't build a PSU cheaper than others because everyone has access to the same components. So the only way you can make it cheaper is to make it shittier than the others.

Or in more extreme cases, cut corners and make the device unsafe...

Well, sometimes someone just hast to learn the stuff the hard way - with a PSU killing his PC...

"Buy nice or buy twice" I always say. Except, in this instance, buying once could mean the end of your PC soo......

Didn't know Miele made washing machines. I have a vacuum from them that I've absolutely annihilated by bumping it into things around the house, getting frustrated at it getting caught on stuff and tugging it, and neglected the bag inside for months. It still works.

I'd expect a fair bit more than a decade out of a Miele washing machine or dishwasher, (Electrolux's stuff should last a decade if maintained correctly), but yeah, exactly the point; you pay more, it works better and lasts longer.

Yeah, I know these discussions with people who wanted the (at the time) Huntkey Made LC-6550 (guess why it's called that) or other low cost crap that either doesn't work with some companys or causes problems or explodes...

And many of those come back a year or two later with everything dead....

Probably not everywhere in the World.

Here in Germany Miele is one of the Big ones and they make everything we call "White Ware" like Fridges, Freezer, Washing machine, Dish Washer, Dryer (not the Hair ones, I think).

Essentially everything for the Kitchen.

And also some industrial stuff like this small, cheap Washing Machine ;)

Yeah, but its not for home use anyway ;)
Its for industrial use where the washing machine is more or less constantly running :)

And it is a bit bigger than normal things. Like 1m high...

The G2 still performs good and doesn't have issues with its protections. The G3 performs better, but has issues with its protections, causing it to be bumped down.

And while it's not a criteria in the list and doesn't make a difference for the list, the higher wattage G3s are also really loud.

Corsair rmx all the way with their 10 year warranty.

(g3 has this also but it’s only above 750w so this shows Corsair has more faith in their product as they don’t need the more money from bigger psu’s to put towards warranty)

I mean, Seasonic PRIME is 12years...

The thing is. Above 7-10 years is mostly irrelevant since PSU technologies will be wildly different, and your older PSU may not even work with new components.

It's very easy to choke a PSU... And with the G3, that means melting your caps.

For even cheaper you can get functional PSUs.
