@Jumper118 @done12many2

here is my version of the R15 sheet, I used the existing sheet and used the data from the per socket pages and merged them all together with # of CPU, # of Core, Socket information added. I have my "IPC" calculation for the MC and SC scores. I may set up some premade data filters, but any user can always create their own temporary one to find what they are looking for.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Il2ufYP_brKGnE8rLGgW99EDnT0X1KIzd59VBOUpZTU/edit?usp=sharing

I left the original data under the CPU muti thread tab. it has roughly 10 more results I think they were missing from the per socket tabs.

4930K overclocked to 4,5GHz @ 1.39V. Is this a good score for an Ivy Bridge-E hexacore at this clock speed?

@Jumper118 @The Benjamins Update tiiime!

My chip won't boot @ 4,6GHz, even with 1.5V! I've given up the 4,6GHz dream.

Tightened timings for my 4,5GHz overclock gave me a score of 1234cb, and 165cb single core. CPU-Z reads half voltage set in BIOS for some reason (1.39V).

Think I've reached the limits of this chip :(

Uuupppddaaattteee! You must be hating me for the spam now...

Tried some BCLK overclocking, and got 1244cb with a clock speed of 4,531MHz (43x105.4). Anything above 4,531MHz resulted in bluescreens :(

I won't with Coppermine-as it is I pushed both of my Pentium III 1000 and the Apollo Pro 133A past the point they were ever expected to max out at-and my earlier PIII 1000 is one of the ones which is barely stable at its stock 1GHz.

Edit: Congrats to Abit for getting the Apollo Pro to work so well.

Good to see you're still messing with the old computers :D

Considering I have:

  • A Pentium III 650 with a new fan (not that it needed replacing-high uality ball bearings FTW),
  • A motherboard with polymer and tantalum caps that saw little if any use before I got given it (along with integrated Yamaha audio that's perfect for DOS/98SE games)
  • 2x 12MB Voodoo 2 in SLI
  • A 16MB TNT2 Vanta with no electrolytic caps and so little on it that its basically see through  (135MHz/135MHz)
  • A good as new 200W FSP PSU with a temp controlled fan
  • A nearly endless supply of IDE HDD ranging from 420MB-250GB

Why wouldn't I keep on messing around with them?

Edit: Turns out that I'd forgotten to loosen the RAM timings.

Haha I love it, I still have all my stuff collecting dust, I miss just messing around with everything. I got into cars and that's pretty much all i've done for the past year. Holding onto as much of my computer stuff as I can and hopefully I can preserve a lot of it.

I am a new member but here are my scores with my r5 1600 : My max score with 4ghz was 1381. I think I can get it stable at 4ghz at 1.440V . Should I try it ? Is it safe for ryzen chipsets that high voltage ? ( I have a high end air cooler so cooling isn't a problem . )

You need to post a screenshot that shows the score for that run. Not the score history.
