that is more like it. now if you can put your ram voltage to 1.35v and see if you can tighten those timings or make it go faster on the same timings then you should be good :)

I'm gonna try and copy the specs of another RAM kit and see if it works :P

 

I also need to understand what each one of those CAS timings does before attempting to tighten them and keep it within the CAS 16 latency limit.

 

I'm also right now in the process of creating the Memtest86 image so I can run a stability test at such high frequencies, with as tight of timings as possible, and with a voltage between 1.2 and 1.35 _happy__by_cookiemagik.gif

well with ram i normally just take one thing up or down at a time so you know what works and what doesnt work. also i start at 1.45v and work my way upto 1.75v too. so in your case i would start at 1.35v :) all these things will improve your efficiency

yes that is correct we are talking about ddr4 ram. on ddr3 i start at 1.65 and go to 2v and on ddr2...............

DDR4 runs fine up to 1.45v even for daily use.

Well...you can confuse people with my CPU!

E6600 vs Q6600..

If a C2D was clocked at like 500MHZ then a P4 would probably beat it.
