Well 531 with HT=631 without HT then...in single core performance.

Except the 631 is 3GHz not 3.28GHz, has more L2 cache, is 65nm, has 64bit support, and with mine has a 65W TDP.

Well everybody makes mistakes...

I actually find it baffling that the 531 has 64bit support while the 540 doesn't-despite the 540 of mine being manufactured in 2003.

Thanks for sharing the Broadwell-E score, specifically the 6900k.  We don't have many BWE guys posting Cinebench R15 scores.

@carterdarter nice 5960x run!

No problem, watercooling is in so went for a bit of an overclock, nothing extreme  :

CPU:1715

GPU:187.27

There's a few processors above me that I reckon I should be beating so might go for an higher overclock tonight, although from reviews it looks like around 4.4-4.5 is the highest I'l get out of it.

You can upload your screenshots straight to LTT so that it's easy to view.

There are one or two 6900k chips on another OC forum posting up some 1900cb - 1930cb at 4.6 GHz or so.

R11.5 :

I forgot do those things come with any special stock coolers or just the normal ones for 478?

A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

Define "normal" ?
Pentium 4's on PGA 478 came from ~55W TDP up to 130W TDP...
There are ALU only coolers with radial fins (like in LGA 775 cooler) and those with horizontal/vertical fins (or horizontal + vertical, ie. " checked pattern") there are also ones with copper base and without it. All are different height as well...
I bought my P4EE as OEM part and after that, I picked biggest Intel cooler I could find for PGA 478 :)

I can tell you that I have one for "3,2GHz" from above video, but without splitted fins in the middle.
Exacly like this one (my fan has SN CP91249-003) : LINK.

Got a 680i LT SLI board, thanks to @asand1.

OC'd my E6600 to 3.1GHZ with stock cooler.

BTW, that cooler is a copper core from a Pentium D, so it should be able to cool a nuclear submarine.

I was wondering why it was big anyway, more OC with better cooling!

@Jumper118 Clocked at 4.789GHz. CineBench is killing me every time I try and run a test at 4.8 and higher, even though my PC passes system stability tests.

You need almost 1.6 volts to have it stable O.o
