Sorry, I don't have the uncropped versions of these (made them awhile back).  If they don't count then that's fine, I just don't see either on the list.

So.... I OC'd my CPU to 3.8GHz from 3.3Ghz. I ran at 60 degrees (C) while at 100% so maybe I could go a little further... I will see. 

On the CPU I am seeing an increase of 139CP and an increase of 20.29FPS... not bad.

Yeah, I was thinking that. I am planning on upgrading my case and cooling system towards the end of the year.

its good but it must have hiv cos netflix and chill is not a film you keep on the desktop.

People have posted result with P4s, but I have something better - AMD Sempron 3000+ from 2004. Cinebench R11.5 crashed when starting and on Cinebench 2003 only CPU benchmark worked, GPU benchmarks crashed. So here's the result:

Haven't changed the voltage - it's set to Auto. Works without problems though and I've been using it like that for about an year now. Get's to about 68C under AIDA64 stress test with stock cooler.

He's only joking. Some people here on LTT believe that a CPU or even a GPU will flat out die when overvolted past 1.3V

I just passed a 4h stress test on RealBench, so it means it was somewhat stable! I still need to run AIDA64 for another 4-6h.

I finally manage to overclock my shiny new i7 5820k to 4.4Ghz with only 1.265V!

4.2ghz on Xeon e5640, stock is 2.67, quick and dirty overclock, I'm sure there's more in it. 200 point gain on cinebench from stock speeds, pretty good for a £4.70 chip

4.8GHz @ 1.3V (0.05V "safe" increment-lower voltage not tested), cache multiplier at 40 minimum, 45 maximum.

If I had a better cooler I'd try the cache with a multiplier of 46-47, and 4.9GHz at 1.35V (maybe lower). This Siedon 120V is working excellently after replacing its stock fan+the thermal compound that I was using. Though with the price of a silver based TIM, that might be my next choice when I do get a better 120mm AIO.

 

Edit: BTW, this overclock is fully stable I think-none of the issues that I've had in the past with an even slightly unstable overclock have appeared. Eg. I can open multiple instances of CPUZ at the same time without any errors.

4.8GHz. 4.9GHz at 1.35V doesn't score much higher, and 5GHz at 1.35V=crash. If I only had a better AIO.....

 

Edit: And CPUZ fails to load properly if the overclock is unstable.

Throttle? As you can see by comparing my 4.8 score further up the page to yours, yours seems a bit on the slow side. I was thinking another 20 points or so for a reasonable run.

 

What RAM are you using btw?

I'm still using the DDR3 1333 that I bought for my i5 4440. But I do have my eyes on some DDR3 2400 that's not too expensive (and seems to have fairly tight timings as well for its speed).
