4070 Super vs 4070 Super TI

Go to solution Solved by Bob_The_Builder,

In that case its pretty cut and dry, just use something like this

https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/4980vs4973/GeForce-RTX-4070-Ti-SUPER-vs-GeForce-RTX-4070-SUPER and decide whether the 5.6% difference in the cards is justified by however much you are paying extra for the 4070 TI SUPER.

Looking to upgrade my graphics card, and I’m stuck between getting the 4070 super and the 4070 super ti. In terms of price to performance ratio, what would be the better choice?

Generally we avoid recommending websites like this. One thing is that the 4070 ti super uses ad103 chipset (like a 4080) whereas the 4070 super uses ad104. A quick and dirty way to tell what you need is to find a youtube video where someone is playing games at similar resolutions and other pc specs to you. Then you can compare the performance of the two cards.

It is important to understand that older videos could have different firmware versions, driver versions, etc so it might not be apples to apples.

If strictly between these two GPU, the Ti Super if you are playing at 1440p ultrawide or 4k. Because you will want the extra performance and VRAM.
