Lenovo teases a smartphone that wraps arround your wrist - its huge...

GoodBytes

Lenovo's Tech World 2016 is happening now, and the company teased a smartphone or smartwatch... well... I guess both. (2-in-1 phones?!) that the company is working on. The phone in prototype stages, runs Android, and looks like can be put flat, or curve like a watch to put on your wrist.

As we can see, it is massive.

There is no information on it, and the company isn't even officially presenting it.. they were just showing that tablet, with a cat picture on it (I guess to feel sad as the cat looks sad, and buy it?! Ooh the feels), but the "watch" on the wrist is what is catching attention.

Well it is clearly massive.. and to be honest, to me, it looks cumbersome to use as you need to rotate your wrist and watch to see top and bottom all the time. And while it might turned thinner (which will result in horrible battery life), weight might be a nice issue. Maybe this product is never meat to see the light of day in real life, at least not until we can make a body heat operating smartphone or new battery technology comes along, with even more power efficient phone chips.

Meh I think the Seiko Data 2000, 1987 tech right there, is more appealing:

I'd wear it. Prefer a large wrist device, thinner obviously would be better but I really don't see the point in a tiny little circle on the wrist like we see in current devices.

"The wheel?" "No thanks, I'll walk, its more natural" - thus was the beginning of the doom of the Human race.
Cheese monger.

This model looks cumbersome as fuck. But once the iterate it a bunch and make them slim and comfortable, I could see it.
