I would own a really expensive car (probably an oldtimer, i think they are the most expensive cars...) and then lend it or sell it for a fortune and live off that money. Then I would probably another car but something a bit more reasonable like an Audi RS6. 600HP but you can fit your family in the car and all your baggage when you drive to the airport. sexy.

My third car was a black 1998 Volkswagen Jetta GL.  I drove it until it just wasn't economical to keep maintaining it.  Almost 217,000 miles. 

 

I miss it a lot. If I could have any car, I would want another identical one in like-new condition. 

 

Second choice? A 1993 Nissan king cab 4x4 pickup truck. Back in high school my best friend had one and I learned to drive a stick shift in it. Even back then his was a bit worse for wear, but it was awesome and we had good times in it.

Tesla Model S, though probably one of the older models (like 2013 or 2014), the 2016 Model S doesn't look quite as good... Though I guess if I could have a Model S but it had to be a new one I suppose that it'd be fine...

 

Though maybe realistically I'd love to either have a Kia Sportage or a Kia Optima or a Hyundai Tucson or Hyundai Sonata, a Toyota Rav4 might not be too bad either. I tend to like CUVs/Wagons, though Sedans aren't too bad.

The RS6 is one of the few Audi's I wouldn't mind having.

Looks like people are trying out different price points. Thought I'd give it a shot. List is based on having to choose 1 car to live with every day and price. I'll be using some old cars but listing their MSRP.

 

Under 30k

VW GTI Mk7. It may not have as much performance as other cars in its price bracket but I think the interior is very well done and if its my only car, I want it to be nice inside as well as having some grunt.

 

 

Under 70k

E92 M3. The fat one of the M3 family. It's not as advanced as its turbocharged sibling and its not as driver oriented as its older brother but I think its the best looking and that V8.

 

 

Under 140k

Porsche 911 Targa GTS. Was debating on a 997 GTS but the 991 Targas are utterly beautiful. I'm sure there's some loss in rigidity but look at it.

 

 

Under 350k

Ferrari F12. I feel iffy adding the F12 to this list since it's only a 2 seater so loses points on practicality but the list was full of Germans and it needed a little Italian flair.

 

 

I can't think of any cars more expensive that honestly improves as a daily driver. Performance more exotic, more powerful, and more limited cars but for me the F12 is the pinnacle of a dd.

My dream cars?

Well i got manny, but Ferrai is definitely one of my dream cars.

I also love the Alfa Romeo 8C competizione.

Its just the sound and power of a pure Italian Stallion.

 

 

 

I love italian cars, Alfa romeo and Ferrari in particular.

I also like others cars aswell of course.

Like certain classic cars, Skylines etc etc.

If money was no object and I had no obligation to maintain it and it's street legal... Probably a McLaren P1, Lexus LFA, or a Tesla Model S. I feel like there's others, but the thing is, I want a car that doesn't get attention. A car that only other car enthusiasts would recognize and not just some random person who knows the name and goes "ohmygodrevtheengine"

 

Otherwise if I were to buy something myself, I'd probably settle for a Toyota FR-S, Mazda Miata, or depending on ownership costs, a Honda S2000.
