Get rid of frozencpu. They closed/are still open but not trustworthy. Big scandle with them.

Circuit City did file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and ceased operations in 2009. For a short while they did come back with an online storefront (possibly with some TigerDirect branding) but nowadays circuitcity.com redirects to the tigerdirect website.

Well it would seem that they're going to try at it again opening their first storefront in Dallas, TX and plan on opening 50 to 100 corporate stores and 200 to 300 franchise stores. These stores would be smaller than the old stores, and it would be more of a boutique shop.

Edited by wcreek
Well then doing a little further reading. It would seem that Circuit City is trying at it again.

UK:

You've got the major ones except...

http://www.cclonline.com/  --one of the bigger PC part sellers so...yeah...not being in the list is...erm...

With these being smaller or their main objective isn't to sell as many PC components as possible (other stuff)

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/  --more for watercooling parts but still, place for PC parts (although a tad more expensive compared to competitors...)

http://www.fiercepc.co.uk/  --they build prebuilds but they also sell hardware (probably doesn't count as it's not exactly a PC part selling business however this is where I bought my first PSU from :D)

http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/  --not that big but still, a good place for hardware...(probably a bit too small to be in the list)

(BTW, these are some of the other stores I look at when shopping hardware so you know...)

@FuriousGamer I edited my post, even my info is out of date. So basically the new story is that some guy decided to buy Circuit City from TigerDirect and restart it as a boutique shop that will have smaller stores. I'm interested to see how long it lasts.

All added ty, Even though there small they still sell pc parts/pc's.

Reliable $550 Starter PC (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KGgpZL) *Just waiting for someone to need help with there ram so I can make a downloadmoreram.com joke*

Huh, I always thought Circuit City went bankrupt, never knew they were still alive.

The web domain was purchased by Tiger Direct.

EDIT read the follow up post that it was bought from TD

Actually I feel like for most countries Amazon that they have sites for, they seem to have good selections of PC parts. Because I checked amazon.fr and they seem to have a nice selection of PC parts.

I doubt the smaller stores will work. They tried that before Tiger Direct bought the domain and it just left a bad taste in everyones mouth. I doubt anyone would trust the name anymore.
