I want to buy a new graphics card but I need to kill the old one first. Without any physical damage.. Any ideas

I'm assuming you want to kill it without any physical damage because you think the manufacturer will provide you with an upgrade. That's a really stupid idea. The R7 240 is such a low end card and nobody will spend time to inspect it, just replace it.

Sell it, it will get you more money than killing it will...  Really.

It would make a great gift to young children and family members who have desktops given by their parents/are bought by them, it's plenty to run most games at 60FPS (that a child would be wanted to wind up playing...  Not Witcher 3.)

 

You could fry your PC and the GPU die along with it... 

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

Nono. Get an external power supply, and put 24v to 6 pin or any rail/capacitor or just zap it with that thing from lighter all the way
