I am addicted to getting likes on my posts.

DaltonM

It's gotten to the point where I spend all my free time trolling these forums just trying to help people. I am watching the new topics see if I can post something helpful first.

Does anyone else feel this way lol?

Have I helped you out? :)

You shouldn't do this forum for likes or post count or whatever. just for fun and the feeling of helping others out

SAYS MR. 11K LIKES.

I kid.

But it does help me become more knowledgeable, as I often have to research answers to give them. I love to learn, especially about technology.

I'm still not on this forum to grow my e-peen with likes or post counts. Because I like helping others I still like posting on this forum and in turn get a high-ish post count (which doesn't interest me really)

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Trying to be helpful, even aggressively so, is not a bad thing. But consider the fact that likes on the LTT forum are not currency nor something that will stand out on a resume.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
