This is for my dad.

He lives in the mountains around reno Nevada and gets really bad reception for both phone and wifi. An external wifi repeater would really help him to be able to use his devices all around his property instead of having to go to one spot outside on his driveway.

Hey you guys I love your channel!

Probably an the new apple tv with 32gb, since my parents are still using a 10-foot hdmi cable to stream netflix to the tv.

NUC for my grandma... I keep promising to give her my old computer when I get a new one, but I only get new ones when the old one is relatively unusable :(
A NUC for skype and watching videos would be perfect!

I would buy my grandpa a new tv. I would buy him this Samsung 32 inch 1080p smart tv. This would replace his ancient toshiba theater view SD rear projection tv. They want a smaller size tv for the room it's in and they alredy have a decent surrounded system to make up for the significant downgrade in speakers. They will be perfectly happy with 1080p as a resolution (also a huge bump over their standered definition tv). Finally my Nana (his wife) will also enjoy the smart tv features. She is good enough with technology that she can work the dum thing and can easily learn how to buy and watch movies. And I'm sure will use regularly too. This purchase will allow him to utilize his hd satalite service which he is paying for even though, at the moment he can't utilize.

Overall I feel this purchase would be a huge upgrade for him and his wife and give them more entertainment, more of what they pay for aswell as much more future proofing all for under $300 before Christmas.

Asus Chromebook Flip 4GB. This would be for my younger sister because she doesn't have her own laptop yet and I think for being a non-techie person, this would be great for her. She basically only works in Google Drive and checks her email

I would love to get my father (and mother by extension) a NAS that doesn't require "server administration". They take so many pictures and videos (especially during the holidays) that their PC's are filled to the brim with them and their "backup" External HDD's are full as well (they are like 150 GB in total). So I think getting them a personal WD cloud/NAS solution would fix them up just fine. Maybe then they would stop badgering me about where to put their photos.

Wireless RS 185 Sennheiser headphones for my dad. He enjoys late night TV but is afraid to crank up the volume in his bedroom. I'll get one for him regardless. If he gets these for free, I'll get him a food vacuum sealer as well~ man loves to cook.

Well i live in a far away place and we dont have christmas here but that doesnt stop me from gifting anyone even though i dont get one. I would give my sister a pair of V-Moda Crossfade M-100 headphones. She loves to listen to music but she has a pair of earbuds from the dollar store right now. I wanted to give her something more robust because she often drops them on the ground, so the left driver has a very loud buzzing sound in it.

I would love to be able to get my fiancée a WIIU because she wants to play video games and is interested but still wants something quick and easy to pick up, we have played some great wiiu games at friends and she really loves it. She loves to play video games but doesn't have anything to play on of her own.   :)

 

This would make her christmas very amazing as we are both saving and looking forward to our wedding happening in January and as such do not have much money to spend on eachother, or ourselves for christmas.
