I think they chose to let people know his real name at some point, and the alias Slick was discontinued.

Maybe you could ask?

A while back ltt stopped doing the nick names, pretty sure in a change to become more professional or something like that.

It was quite a while back though, like, more than a year ago they just kinda stopped the occasional references to 'slick' in videos or w/e.

During the coverage of an event someone spotted the name on the press ID that Luke had hanging out, this was the moment when his name become public and why they just started using it.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

Slick became Luke when I had a dream about him one night. He was in the old office with Linus in the WAN show room, standing next to the old testing bench, and I went in and he gave me a hug. And it was the second most lovely hug that I've ever had, even though it was in a dream.

He really is a Greek, Roman and Norse fertility god/dess all rolled into one cuddly 6ft teddy-bear package.

My fox loli self would drop her panties for him and tackle him to the floor any day.

From watching the videos, it seems the nickname 'Slick' just got used less and less over time until Luke was solely referred to by his first name. Which makes sense since his social media, like Twitter, utilises his 'real' name.

It was before my time, but I think the change was made to aid team members in building a personal brand within the company. Helped to identify everyone as an individual person rather than just an aspect of the company.

That guy from NetLinked is nicknamed Keys. Sounds cool. I wonder how he got that name. Does anyone know?

Keys (Riley) mentioned in a video special that his nickname is related to music (not sure when/how he was first called 'Keys' though); here's the video:
