All the mentions of Corsair make me want to vomit.  I gave them a chance buying some ram from them but even though I filled a MIR x 2 properly they have refused to send me my rebate checks on time and when they promised I would get them by a certain date they didn't make good on that promise.  I will do everything in my power to never buy Corsair products again.

Now as for fav brands .....

Gigabyte (great lower end boards with features of higher end boards at an affordable price)

AMD (they have some nice cpus for certain builds and at least they are trying to provide some competition to Intel ..... and quite frankly the people that use computers for just surfing and stupid stuff should be taking advantage of what AMD has to offer and stop buying Intel for those pcs)
Kingston (reliable memory brand)
Western Digital (reliable brand for hard drives but I have made the move to Seagate)
CoolerMaster (for pc cases .... love the HAF series)

Antec (for psus I try my best to only buy their brand now)
Zotac (I actually love their crazy color scheme for their cards and had no issues with the 560 Ti card I had from them at one point)

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

This might sound strange but I don't have favourite brands for things.... I have products that I like, and I have brands that I trust and well regard.

I focus on the individual product more than the brand I guess, I do think the brand is important I believe it can tell a lot about a product, but it's not always the main thing I look for, I don't nessaraly have a favourite everytime. There are some individual products that I absolutly love, for example I do have a favourite mouse, keyboard, case, ect... but I don't have a favourite brand, this is probably because I rearly believe that every single product a brand makes is always good.

I was afraid someone wold have said "CPU: Intel." Brands aside, its not always like you can go with who you want.... go with those that have quality, and support to back up their products. I am no disagreeing with you, either.
