No, but I generally buy in person when I'm able too, so that's probably why.

Pft. People talking about gpus being huge. I went from a single slot hD 6670 to a triple slot 7950. Now that thing is MASSIVE

I always feel like cases and graphics cards are bigger than I thought, and CPUs and SSDs are always smaller than I thought...

I agree with the CPU thing especially.

But I thought the Latitude E4300 was good looking in picture... In person it is sexy AF.

Pretty much every piece of hardware I see in retailer's website looks like some crappy matte thing and the when it arrives it looks different. For example a motherboard that looks like meh and then it shines :/

This is a signature.

Well this Titan X Picture vs One in person

It honestly depends on the product and the picture.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

i wholly agree, two eyes does wonder on percepting 3D objects as you got an actual sense of scale and depth compared to flat images.. and you get to touch it!

you'll appreciate it more if you could interact with it (in a good way ofc)

My golden editions look okay online but in person they're beautiful. I suppose it depends on how much you like the look of raw copper though.

every gpu I ever owned looks bigger in person then what I ever see in videos or pictures. Then again I just have a bad sense of scale in general

After watching the 450d video and seeing in person i thought it would be bigger :D

and so was the motherboard, linus is too small compared to pc hardware :D

I went from a low profile r7 240 as my first ever dedicated graphics card i had ever seen in real life (besides finding old naked outdated cards) in a m-atx dell case, i thought 92mm fans were big. A few months later i got a gigabyte g1 gaming gpu, a mid atx case and 240mm aio for my full build and was shocked at how huge everything was! I don't know what i was expecting for size but im totally used to it now. Gpu's still surprise me thou as i got my first reference card recently and again was pretty surprised by the size and beauty. The thing feels like a beast too

The NZXT S340 looks so awesome in videos, but when I went to a local computer shop to look at one it was kind of meh. The internals looked awesome with the amount of space it seemed to have (especially that shroud and crossbar for hiding cables), but on the outside I didn't think it looked as nice as it looks in reviews.

My opinion is that hardware looks generally bad in pictures, good in reality, and gorgeous in close-up videos.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

In person you get an awesome 3D view of the hardware, so yeah, they look better in person.

My reaction to the EVGA Classified cards:

"wow this thing is fucking huge"

They are pretty tall.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example.
