SO I go to Highschool and College, The College is far more tech-savvy compared to the HighSchool, At the Highschool Our teacher was bragging about her new projector and  I just though "Wow 720p looks real nice with that HDMI > DVI > VGA adapter " lol

I'm guilty of this. Stood there for a full 10 minutes until the janitor that had been watching me the whole time walked over and pressed the button.

that's not bad, at my previous workplace, LOTS of people that wanted to go up would press the up AND down button to go up and get in the elevator even when it was going down, when I asked why to a few of coworkers that I saw were doing it, their reply was that it was faster ... that's pretty much when I lost whatever faith in humanity I had left!

My mum managed to plug a floppy cable in an IDE DVD drive. When me and my dad saw it we wondered 'How did she manage to do it???' then when we told her, she replied 'Oh, I wondered why it didn't work.'

It's a bit ironical but our IT teacher, who is 60+ years, asks us to help her with her computer. One time she called me over, because her language bar disappeared. At first, I thought that I did some thing wrong and she called me over for that, but when I went there she told me 'My language disappeared. What to do to fix it?' Well I helped her fix it. Another time she asked a friend of mine to help her connect a laptop to WiFi. She said it couldn't connect. He pressed Connect, it connected and she told him 'You're my Internet expert!'. She doesn't know English, so she reads English words in a strange way, e.g. 'screensaver' -> 'screenserver' or 'spacing' -> 'shpacing' (it's not even possible to write what she says).

just don't ... it's not because you're fluent in a language that you can make fun of those that aren't. Things have changed since her "times" and ours, and in all seriousness, to make a comparison, I don't expect my grand-parents to be good in English or have no accents. Even for someone in their 30's it's hard to learn a new language without some sort of an accent.

That doesn't excuse her being an IT teacher and not knowing much about computers, that's just sad!

What

uuhmm

I know there are less-tech-savvy people out there, but this completely kicks it.

What's next, we plug in a usb stick by taking a picture of it?

We insert a sim card by taking a picture of it.

Wow, that's just..... wow....

You honestly have no idea. I will never live down that shame.

I kind of pressed the button, but must not have pressed it hard enough and then got engrossed in replying to e-mails and Facebook on my phone.
