yeah thats kinda what it sounds like tbh...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

me:"hey bud pull your processor and ram and i'll be in there in a sec"
friend ends up with ram and psu pulled out staring blankly at me...
me:"ok well there's a start wheres the processor..."
friend points at the ram and psu and says "i forget which one of these is the processor."

brother in law punched his laptop right above where the hdd is located and wonders why it doesn't work anymore and i quote
"worked fine, i barely punched it, and now it doesn't work what a piece of junk"

so maybe the cd laser in your combo drive might have just be screwed ,

or the lense , who knows , i have a drive like that too , from an old dell

On Wednesday we had art class in school ( which is a 2 hour long lesson ). And for the most time I was just running around helping people "out" with are Notebooks ( we have Lenovo Thinkpad L560 and some older models from Dell and HP ) because every one exept me from the class is a NOOB in Computer Sience ( And this is the "7th" class, so every buddy shode have some knowledge in Computer Sience but NO they are so poor sometimes ! ). And they ask/do like every Bullshit with are Computers, Like:

 

Change the ten finger system for no f***ing reason

 

Or when the PC is booting up pressing Delete or any "F" key so that the Notebook is going into the BIOS 

 

Or touching the screen of the Notebook and again for no f***ing reason...

 

 

The list with Fails and Facepalm moments gos on and on...

I think he's referring to the 10-key pad that some of the more workstation/larger laptops have and that a good deal of mechanical keyboards have as well. I don't really know what he means by "changing" it though.

So my brother has just gotten on Instagram and has a tendency not to look to hard at/for things at any given time. He is also very territorial. He came bursting into my room and said "WHY DID YOU LOG ONTO YOUR ACCOUNT ON MY PHONE?!?!?!" I said that i didn't even know his pass code (which i didn't) and defended myself anyway. I said that I'll log off of my account. But as i was doing so, i found out that he had gone onto my profile and thought that I was on his phone. When I told him this, he acted like he knew about it the whole time. So after that, every time he's asked my for tech help, I've told him to "READ EVERY WORD ON THE PAGE."

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.
