I don't know anything about this argument, but you can always tell someone is going to be annoying as f*ck when they use the word "snowflake" to demean someone or something.

The hilarious thing is they're really convinced an overpriced, low-end Windows phone with specs from 2015 (which weren't even high-end back then) will be the "the most disruptive [smartphone] since the advent of the smartphone in 2000." These "innovations" they're promising that allow you to use your phone as a desktop, laptop or whatever? Continuum. Which is already a Windows 10 feature. But then they have this exclusive organizational app! Which draws heavily from '90s design cues and isn't even automated, and must be updated manually. The phone isn't even an original design - it's a rebrand.

 

Considering how consumer interest in Windows Phone has flatlined, Continuum isn't very good in practice (especially wirelessly, aka Cinematic OS), it's a pretty boring phone backed up with buzzwords and not even Microsoft seems to really care anymore (see: Samsung Galaxy S8 Microsoft Edition), I highly doubt it'll put even a dent in the smartphone market.

 

It must suck being a Windows Phone user in 2017, when this is the only thing you really have to look forward to.

A friend of mine still uses a Nokia with WP on it .... He likes the tiles I guess?

It's way too old if we're talking about smartphones. It's using an antiquated dual core Snapdragon S4 Pro and is still stuck to Windows Phone 8.1.

Anyway, thought I'd poke my head back in as I'm planning, for real this time, a system upgrade. After all, finally got some decent money rolling in again, so I can afford fun things. That and I've recently binged some LTT videos as I haven't been watching them since last year and thought I'd see if the forums were still going strong.
