Edit 1 : I am not saying let the children play "M" rated games, they shouldn't and i wouldn't let me children to play it as well, be that as it may, i've played GTA way before the rated age, and almost half of the world have played it underage, things happen, can't completely eradicate it , doesn't mean i should be reported to authorities, and like the rest of us who did play it underage, we all didn't turn out to be criminals.

Edit 2 : If the children did play Gta games who are underage, don't report the children to the authorities, report their parents for not taking necessary responsibilities as parents.

Edit 3 : How the F do what children do in home is any of the schools Fcking Businesses ? Will the teachers be reported if they smoke weed in their home ?

Obviously, if foul language is just a symptom of an underlying issue that's a different
story, I'm merely talking about "normal" kids using it, if that makes sense, not about
a disturbed individual who can only express themselves via profanity due to other issues.

 

Foul languages has it's share of medicine, those are just words that looses it's importance over generations (not recommending members here to use it, but you are gonna have to decide for that yourself after watching this video)

hahahahahaha this made me laugh...spoken like a person who has no kids.....5-11 year olds, especially at the lower end can not spererate fact from fiction.  these are kids that still believe in santa how in the hell are they gonna separate what they see on tv from there play.....stand on a playground for half an hour and see just how bad they can be...

 

alot has changed since the days of gta3 games are much more realistic and much more graphic especially the gta series

 

By 5-6 I sure as shit knew the difference between reality and entertainment.  Just because kids play pretend doesn't mean they don't understand the difference.  As I said, there's a disconnect between observing kids as an adult and actually being a kid.  

 

Graphics don't matter... plenty of kids have seen violent movies.  They don't take it seriously, aside from scary things.  "Killing people" in a game is the same whether or not it looks super realistic or not.  Because they understand it's not real and that it's just a game...

Sure, masturbation is.  Masturbation is normal and healthy.  Not sure an argument should be made that porn is healthy for teens though.  Adolescent minds are incredibly malleable.  Too much exposure to it could negatively impact their view on sex and relationships.

That's debatable. I've watch a LOT of it, and I'm fine, although I've never been in a healthy relationship, mainly because I've never met anyone I truly liked. *shrug*

Dude when I was in kindergarten me and my friends got 3 weeks of detention for playing Star Wars. We new it was all fake but what we really didn't understand was why we got in trouble. Now I'm 17 and see that the staff at my elementary school were all complete morons.

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I do think ultra violent games like CoD have adverse effects on pre teen brains. While I'm not saying CoD consumed as a child will make a violent adult I do think that it could be a contributing factor.

If you think about it, there are three types of learning/conditioning. Operant (punishment/reward for performing an action), Classical (monkey see, monkey do) and Social/Observational (learning from society/parents/the actions of individuals or media. It's definitely plausible that children are learning to be more violent because of the way they tend to learn under social/observational learning and because of the way they learn from classical conditioning. I don't believe that video games create criminals and serial killers, but I do believe that they can make children more violent/hostile just as much as they can make them more mentally fit.
