What's your friend got? Also my parents are about the same.

Over the past 3 years:

Year 1: Wii U, bunch of games, Laptop(500ish), Stupid expensive headphones (70bucks), Bunch of games (150dollars)

Year 2: 800 Dollar PC, A PS3 (300$), More games (100ish bucks)

Year 3: Xbox One (350-400 bucks) Plus an insane amount of games ($300), K70 RGB (200 Dollars) New mouse and headset (130 bucks.

 

I just realized how much stuff I didn't include lol

Not as bad as i was expecting. Also 70 dollar headphones are stupid expensive? Come on man...

All i woulod want out of that is the Wii, xbone (for halo ONLY) and the headset.

They were probably more than that, shipped from Greece.

 

He only got them just becuase they were zelda themed and it didnt even have a mic.

They were probably more than that, shipped from Greece.

 

He only got them just becuase they were zelda themed and it didnt even have a mic.

I want a nice pair of sennheisers or akg 7xxx with a yeti. :)

I'm saving for a msata ssd drive, because i was cleaning my pc and noticed that my mother board has a msata port, i know those drives are wicked fast, so i want one to put all my games in it, but i'm outside of USA, and they are kind of expensive, i think it will take me about a month to get it.

Pretty much everything, but now I have a kinda real job ($200) So I can pretty much buy anything in one month. Right now saving for my 4690K and a cooler (Can't decide between H220X and NH-D15) I already bought the board because it was a great price and I didn't want it to sell out.

I've saved up for a Velleman K8200. Now, annoyingly, I still have to convince my mother that buying a 3d-printer is a good idea and will not ruin the aesthetics of my room. It's not going well.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

I had a gaming notebook that I saved for 2 years before buying. My next large purchase is my next desktop which I've been figuring out for a year or so. It's hard to say how long I've been saving for it though since the money for it is just money left over after bills and whatever.

An iPod Touch when I was 11, and my OnePlus One a month ago.

I've been saving for about two years for a PC, I believe I'll have enough money to buy all the parts by May. I also want a smartwatch, but none of the current models stand out besides the Moto 360, which has a slow processor, bad screen resolution and battery life isn't fantastic (but manageable).

Also, This Isn't Hard To Read At All, And It's Not Like You'll Save More Time Typing Without Hitting The Shift Key Every Two Seconds.

I saved up for a ps2 when i was 11 years old, took me more than a year. It sadly broke down after 4 years, the optical drive reader malfunctioned for some reason.

 

Makes me a little sad to see what the average 11 year old has now though.
