The PlayBox is a PS4 and Xbox One combined in a single laptop

XTankSlayerX

14212280776.jpg

The creation is based off of the Xbook Duo, a previous combo-unit he created that packed in an Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

"The PS4 sits on the left hand side of the unit, and the Xbox One is on the right side," Zarick explained in a new blog post. "The whole unit still only takes one power cord (must be plugged in) and only one unit can be powered on at the same time.

"This system took a lot of attempts and reconfiguring to make everything fit and still some things had to be compromised to make the system work, for example it was impossible to get the USB ports on the Xbox to be extended to the outside of the case. But the unit does offer Ethernet ports for both units (WiFi for both units also works), along with HDMI Out."

That is one ugly piece of hardware. Also I don't think it's technically a laptop since there's no battery.

Just lemme get this straight:

- This is bigger than a gaming laptop

- Heavier as well

- Has much less functionality than a gaming laptop

- Looks worse than a gaming laptop

- It probably costs more than a gaming laptop of similiar performance (two consoles, case, screen, HDMI hub, etc.)

- Requires you to carry two controllers with it

I'm sorry but can somebody explain me why would anyone want that?

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

These things are very cool.

I remember once someone made a Wii + PS3 + Xbox 360 in one unit.

If I was rich I'd buy this Frankenstein console as long as I would have no issue using Xbox Live and PSN with this thing.  I would ask that he make mine black though.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

This is retarded... if people have the money for 2 consoles and to pay yearly sub fees on both, plus the huge price premium I'm sure the unit will have, why the hell shouldn't they buy a great gaming pc? I just finished making a 750$ build with a gtx 970 and an i5, who would be so stupid to buy this instead? Hell, who would buy this instead of both consoles considering it has no battery and is therefore no more portable than the two consoles.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

It would be a lot cooler if it was just a 2-in-1 console that you connected to a TV like a normal console, instead of making an already ugly design even more hideous by sticking a screen on it.

Because of rabid fanboyism?

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...
