Can you guys just react to each other's arguments without throwing in insults?

Isn't asking for 90% kind of revealing of your own opinion on the matter, Linus?

Personally, I feel like booth babes are kind of dumb. It's a pretty cheap way of grabbing attention, in my opinion, but then again, I loathe most marketing tactics.

Post it if you must, I guess, maybe you'll find a way to make it interesting in some way.

So three examples to counter the "they made the choice to be there" argument. Names have been changed for the first two.

Alex is one of the guys you see standing shirtless outside of Abercrombie. Employment can be tough for college students in our area, he likes the brand, so he applied for a job. He was hired, and excited about it, until they told him what he'd be doing. He hates it, yet he stands out front, looking hot (because he is), smiling and flirting (and also being part of the store's loss prevention program) because it's his job. He is paying his way through med school. He is constantly looking for any other job that provides flexibility in scheduling around his classes.

Katie can be found as a model at local boat shows (we're home to the Bass Pro Shops HQ, we have lots of boat shows). She shows up, does her job (and also looks quite hot doing it) and when she gets home, I usually have to go over and calm her down because she's in tears. Why does she do it? Her husband left her three years ago when their son was born with Down's Syndrome. He wanted neither the personal or financial responsibility of raising a special needs child. He fled the country so she receives no child support. Her parents disowned her because she married a man of a different skin color. She does what she has to in order to provide for her son.

And then there's me. I ran a webcam years ago when I was in college. Again, in this town, it was very difficult to find work that would be flexible with my school schedule (theology degree, there's a great combination). I was approached by someone who operated an "adult" webcam site and I became one of their "models." I hated it. At least for me I didn't have to see any of the people staring at me (though I was required to chat with them). But it paid the bills. I was able to stay in school and also eat and have a roof over my head. I only stayed at it for four months until I, thankfully, found a decent paying job elsewhere.

So just because someone is there by choice doesn't mean they necessarily want to be, that they necessarily enjoy the attention, or that they would want videos of themselves shared at random websites. Yeah, sex sells, but does that mean we have to actively encourage the objectification of either gender? Especially on a tech centered site? That is not the type of community I would be comfortable referring people to, nor is it one I would want to remain a part of.

If Alex doesn't know what he'll be doing at his job, he shouldn't be there.

I like looking at beautiful women. If that makes me sexist then so be it. IDGAF.

I also like watching tech videos. maybe that makes me a techsist. IDGAF.

But really, Linus Tech is such a sausage fest to begin with. If I can turn him and Slick into pretty women it would make watching their videos a lot more pleasing to the eyes (for me anyways). Otherwise, I just watch for the tech. But if I can have both....

They still made the choice to be there, regardless if it paid the bills or not. If it hurt them too much emotionally by doing it, they should quit and be sensible about it. They are not forced to do it and neither were you (if that's even true) but it's a choice you made. You weighed the consequences of both doing the job or not but you still had 100% control of what you did.

I feel like it's awkward to have one video dedicated to showing off the girls.

I mean, they're certainly a part of the event, but not the focus.

I don't really see it as a problem, just kind of awkward for me, and as such I personally wouldn't just sit there and watch the whole thing.

Speaking more generally, though, I'm of the "don't like it, don't watch it" mindset.  It's not like thousands of others haven't already eyed the girls.

Linus Media Group went to Computex. LMG recorded footage while they were at Computex. For those that voted no you are prohibiting LMG from doing their job by not allowing them to post a video of Computex. Don't be that guy.

If there's something on TV that you find not quite to your standards, you don't watch it. That is your right. Please don't infringe on others rights to view that same show that they might enjoy.

People need to learn to not watch things that they don't like.

I couldn't care less about booth babes, but some people love them, why should they be deprived?

This is like people who complain about Top Gear. No one's holding a gun to your head, if you don't like it, don't watch it.

Please vote no guys, PC enthusiasts are already labelled as misogynists. The fact that electronics expos like Computex and E3 even HAVE booth babes is already sexist enough, we don't need to make it worse by literally posting a video for people to fap to.

I hope no-one faps to a booth babe video.....its just cleavage and legs. How can anyone get remotely hard from that?

You could say to one side, well don't watch it. But you could just as easily say to the other side, I'm sure there are plenty of other people with a camera who have filmed booth babes at some event somewhere that you can ogle in your spare time.

The 25K mark hasn't been reached. Your loyal viewers that did watch the vids deserve a reward, like a previously mentioned video displaying the tech of computex along with the respective models.

15% of the readers infringed on the rights of the other 85%, it truly is a sad day
