Totally worth the 14 or so FPS I was getting (1440p at complete max settings was too hard for the ol 7950 I suppose).

AC: Origins.

I don't really will get into gaming mechanics, microtransactions, history telling...

But the artistic department of this game is simply outrageous :) Just worth getting it because of that.

They improved AC alot. No more Feather Hunting or Combat for Braindead. No Watchtowers every 50m and boring busywork.

Origins is by far the best of the Series and took some good aspectsd over from FarCry.

+ skill system / combat system

+ loot and weapons

+ secrets and poi´s to discover

+ many sidequests

+ no meaningless races or flag/feather hunts anymore

+ way less watchtowers which are smaller and can be climbed within seconds

+ Very good looking and detailed Game with an insane farsightedness

+ the map is huge, almost Wildlands lvl.

- Game has an Ingameshop (i never used and never will), i found enough weapons on enemys or chests. So no need for this. But still annyoing

- Frames are 50-65 on max settings in 1440p. Perfect playable, but the fact that the multilayer DRM is the Reason for +30% needed performance, is unacceptable.

Overall the Dudes who made Blackflag realy did a great Job here. They realy evolved AC in many Ways and its a much better Game than all the Years before.

I recommend a powerfull CPU tho, since this seems to be the bottlenecking factor here. At least atm.

After the last Patch it went from ~70% to ~50%. Cant see any Performance differences tho.

Could have something to do with the Region maybe. Or Cutscenes. I only checked the usage twice. The frames never change. They are always ~50-60.
