When you use an original Model M (like me!)

When your friends complain about your usage of mechanical keyboards due to them being far too loud for them even with noise cancellation on your microphone.

I have been looking for a Model M, where would I go to find one ? :)

When working ona  single monitor display is both annoying and inconvenient.

When you forget that school systems don't have windows 8 and always get confused when the start menu doesn't come up when you click in the top left corner.

When you have a backpack with a dedicated laptop compartment that you ALWAYS use

It could just run Windows 7 or 8 but no.

Vista to 8 would be a decent upgrade. Vista to 7 is a waste of money.

Vista to 8 would be a decent upgrade. Vista to 7 is a waste of money.

I spent money on it. It was worth it to me. I even had high-end hardware for the time Vista was released and can say the performance difference and everything else about 7 was worth it. I would almost say the 7 to 8 upgrade would be worth it but for most people it isn't. It is a better performer but most people hate the UI.

Do you mean Win 8 without any start menu addons?

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

Invalid. You must know everything in tech.

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.
