XBox One Launch In Japan - Not doing well... at all

Is it doing well in any country? lol i have one and can barely find games on Ghosts in Australia its annoying as shit cant even play properly without lag from american hosts plus the slow ass dashboard just makes me want my 360 back

No they buy the Japanese consoles...like Wii's and Playstations....

No, they buy handhelds. Both Wii U and PS4 are selling terribly in Japan right now. (8-10k and 6-8k per week respectively, and no I did not mix up the numbers)

They also already have a huge game library for both of the two and most games in said library are Japan exclusives.

That alone is a good enough reason to go with a playstation and wii u. sure most are "Anime" ish but eh they are great games!!

Na their a console country for the most parts but since Sony and Nintendo are home grown they tend to be rather faithful.

I wish we got half the JRPGs that Japan did. If so I might actually but a PS4. The only real hope in the US is NIS America. As for not selling consoles in really don't know what to say because yes the portable system is more popular but that doesn't mean consoles didn't sell, at least in the past. Now I dont know their console market at all really but I would have to think its the same as ours currently. What real good reasons do they have to got to the PS4 from their PS3 especially if all the new stuff is still coming out on the PS3. Also I really wonder how many more reasons (games) they have to buy Wii U than we do in the US because my list is still less than 10.

If the industry is to move forward not backwards the console market needs to adapt or die. 

 

Consoles could be dead in a windows update. Better console controls on desktop and easier to navigate without a keyboard and mouse; consoles would be pretty much useless compared to HTPC then.

Consoles in general have issues in Japan and no Xbox before really did that well there anyways so to anyone that knows what 1+1 equal, this isn't shocking news.

Japan is not going to buy Xbox's until IDOLM@STER comes to it, end of story, guaranteed one of the biggest reasons why the Xbox 360 managed to do well in Japan later in life.
