Main desktop - Jarvis.

School laptop - Hal

Home laptop -VIKI

Home Network - Skynet

Nas - Loki (Halo novel : Contact Harvest)

 

Yeah.. All AI of some sort (Jarvis being a bit more of a VI) 

Mostly because it is a bit more interesting than "Chris-pc" or a model name.

+ "Connected to wifi network skynet" is always fun to read when i come home.

My real name is Dominic. So I went with the very imaginative:

dominic-desktop     custom rig

dominic-linx     Linx 10 tablet

dominic-stream     HP Stream

dominic-laptop     Laptop

 

And my nas is called, [wait for it] nas.

 

This makes it very easy to remember the hostnames of my devices

I named my PC "Murphy". I think it's because I was eating pizza when I built him, but I'm not 100% sure it was Papa Murphy's.

My older, mid tower with all my storage is named Moya, and my newer ITX build with more lethal hardware is named Talyn... I just realized I need to name my phone Winona

I named mine "Natsu" because 1. Natsu is my favorite anime character of all time and 2.  I built my PC in the summer and Natsu means summer in Japanese. See how I killed 2 birds with 1 stone :P?

I haven't given a name to my PC... by I did give it a name in windows, "TETRASKY-PC".

My old computer was called "CYBERPOWER" because that's the company that made it. My current one is named "SHOCKWAVE" because shockwave best transformer
