The Product Box almost looks like it's for an iPhone, just without the silly looking Product Renders:

The Dock is a very cool accessory.

This Smartphone almost looks like one of those prop Tech Products they have at Ikea:

This Smartphone is as repairable as my daily driver Fairphone 4 with the added Bonus of having privacy dip switches.

It comes pre installed with Manjaro plasma Mobile and I'll try it out first:

I'm especially looking forward to trying out Ubuntu Touch on it since Ubuntu Touch works very well on the FP4 and I've used Ubuntu on many different PCs over the years in school and currently use Pop OS on my Desktop and Notebook and like it a lot.

This will be my Linux Touch Experiment Smartphone since over 20 different Linux Distro flavors are supported on it.

How funny that is as I had Defenders on my car and Assurances on another car (same model) and can definitely say they suck. I replaced the Michelin Defenders with Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultras and they were significantly better.

It's comical that Michelin makes the PS4S which is commonly deemed as a holy grail tire... And then the Assurance which somehow hydroplanes very frequently and a 2.0 Duratec is able to absolutely roast the fuck out of.

Shitty as the Defenders were, they did me very well last winter. Concerningly well, actually. My Buick had no right to ignore snow like it did, yet it would drive through 4-6 inches for fun.

Decided to use that 20% code on the WAN show and got me $50 ish worth of Jerky on the way. Im sad they no longer sell it at Meijer because they had the maple buffalo bacon and the Mojo and I liked both and it was local and convenient.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

The green chili is AMAZING good, like seriously good. If you like spice and you like jerky. It's a great balance between beefy and lightly spicy.

They any good for tubeless running?

Yes, made for it, to the extent the inside has a little less grip for a tube to set in like the stock tires I had.

My rims are also tubeless, idk why I don’t just go tubeless tbh, I like the convenience of tubes.

Incredibly handy little tripod that extends to ~4ft or so..

It's very light and a little on the cheaper feeling side.  I only paid £4.oo for it though so I think it's a bargain.  It's a Hama Star 75 and came with a little carry case too

I need to get a small light but stable tripod to take places with the GF for low light work on scenery or animals.

I finally jumped on the high power USB C bandwagon.

The Anker charger is DENSE. Either they packed it with weight to feel more premium or it's built from frickin tungsten. The cable is cheap but feels decent, doesn't bend so easy that it'll get kinked. I bought two and might grab a couple more in shorter lengths for the cars.

These small GaN chargers tend to be fully potted with resin to help spread the heat, and it's pretty heavy...

It's pretty rock solid.  Not as solid as something full size say but if you're just letting it stand and not fiddling with the camera it'll be ok

Replaced my keyboard and mouse, so far the keyboard sounds nice to my ear, and feels good too. Don't need to do anything to it to make me happy. The new mouse, I'm liking the shape(I use a fingertip grip) and the weight is nice. I'm a big fan of these lightweight mice.

Some Synthedata Active 1 bookshelf speakers.  For a Fiver in my local charity shop. These will be replacing the out of place looking Alesis M1 Actives that are on my Retro PC Frog at the minute.

A simpler design so less can go wrong too.  No USB bullpats or anything to complicate them.

These things are super heavy with a metal shell and grill.  They've even got VESA 75/100 style mounting holes on the back as I believe I've seen similar installed in Pubs and Bars before.

Took advantage of the Steam Sale and since today is my 21st Birthday this can also be seen as a Gift to myself. Thanks again to @Skyesgaming and @AlTech for the Steam Gift Cards !

Some of these Games I already have for free on EGS but since I wanna simplify things I want to have all of my Games on Steam. And Steam is just the best platform for Games anyways so yeah.

it’s fuckin snowing

https://wgntv.com/news/cook-county/illinois-state-police-respond-to-18-vehicle-crash-in-matteson/

I literally drove past that whole mess, there were actually about 20 cars at the Vollmer road overpass when I went over it before police arrived, probably a lot of people got out, realized neither had insurance, and just left. It was all tore up at Lincoln highway, Sauk Trail, I assume the next one, and University Parkway, and finally one side of Monee Manhattan was closed at the overpass as well with what looked like cars had been played on a pool table. I dropped by a store on my way home so I guess I missed a lot of it thankfully, I didn't actually get home until almost 7 as I had to keep taking detour after detour around closed roads or backed up traffic. Normally I'd be home around 630 if I go to the store.

I was going to take my new car to work today to spray some stuff under it but since salt is out I don't want to get it salted before that so I'll just do it at home on the floor with some jacks slowly and with a lot of discomfort.

Doesn’t surprise me, I used to live in park forest and worked in Frankfort, that whole area is a nightmare of dumb drivers

why that many people were on vollmer to begin with baffles me more than their desire to crash into eachother

Yesterday I finally got my base 15 Pro Max in Natural Titanium to replace my 13 Pro Max. The 13 was still good, but mine was increasingly cursed (a concerning amount of dust under the telephoto lens, half the screen was considerably red-tinted at lower brightness, the Lightning port was fucking up but just for audio, and some other thing I forgot).
