Either it's that time of the year or you jinxed me, have to order wipers for both my car and the mrs's car.... Ugh.... Checked I just replaced hers with some Bosch Icons in March (Mine with some Trico versions), they didn't last so well. Maybe I'll see if I can't try your silicone ones out.

Buying the PIAA with the frames comes with a pre-treatment wipe you apply after cleaning the windshield. I had a packet laying around so I was able to not buy the whole blade and just the refill.

When I had them on my car, my first set lasted 3 years and 2nd was still working well (about 2 years on it before I got traded the car in). Also gotta keep in mind New Jersey weather. They never let me down these silicone blades and in light rain in the day time, you never really need to turn the wipers on as the water beads and rolls up the windshield. They are pricy up front but over 3 years compared to rubber blades where I would have to replace every 6 months, I think I get my money's worth.

Not a purchase but a gift for my hard work.  I've been helping my Uncle MOT his client's cars over the last few years for favours.  He wanted to get rid of this little 206 cause he's got hold of another car and he put 2+2 together and gave it to me 🙂.  It's a nice, clean, little motor and ULEZ compliant thanks to it's 1400cc Petrol Engine.

Side note:  Image Resizer from Microsoft Power Toys works really well at resizing jpeg by batch.  Got this little lot from 32MB down to 2.2MB

Spoiler

the box is a lie, only one burger fits at a time

unless you had like, the worlds smallest burgers

which is fine, I got the small one to make one burger at a time

I use the shit out of our sandwich press. It's got flippable plates for smooth or grill and I love it.

I wonder if their refills will fit in Ford and Mazda OEM blades? I need silicone back on my new daily and need them on the GF's car that has an oddball 27" blade that only the OEM part fits properly.

Hmm I'm not so sure about that. PIAA gives some directions on how to check to see if the refills will fit with OE blades such as what's at the top of the page here. https://www.piaa.com/store/c/72-Wiper-Refills.aspx

I'm sure you could probably buy a 28" (if it can fit) and just snip 1" off at the end where it slides on (not the locking end into the blade itself) and work perfectly fine.

Not a purchase again but My Mum got herself a new Surface Go 3 so she gave me her old Surface 3 to play with/wipe.  Considering the specs, this thing has done incredibly well since she bought it AT RELEASE and used it daily since release.  She's always kept it on Windows 8.1 though so i think that has a lot to do with it.  I factory reset it today and logged in to on my account.

WOWW!!! didn't think it was THIS BAD...I'll try not to use all these specs in one go.....

I enjoyed my play through of Firewatch a lot and The Invincible is basically that but in Space, also it's Steamdeck Verified which is always very nice to see. I had Cyberpunk in my Wishlist since it came out, finally bought it at 50% of lol:

It has finally arrived (I just need to get everything else now 🫠......), though, I still wonder if I made a mistake buying such a CPU with the near future in mind: As much as I've been reassured before by others and by the reviews I've read and seen I still ask myself if the 7950X3D, for +/-250€ (which is a lot, to be sure, but it's not 2 times as costly and, yet, it has x2 as many cores), wouldn't have been a "safer" option 😔.

Might pick that up at some point. I know my friend wants to maybe do Ark Ascended. But Im not sure my current machine can handle it. Considering its piss poorly optimized and all the bugs that were in the original made it in to this game.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
