8GB of DDR3 Laptop RAM, i5-2400 and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio lead.  All for less than a tenner from CEX.  Might not use the 2400 (the Lenovo mini has a 2120T) but I might get fruity and plop it in

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro that I bought as a late birthday present for myself. (Don't comment on the screen protector, I'm waiting for the new one to arrive.)

My little upgrade for my PC #2 : 2x Xeon E5-2689 v4 (they replace my 2x Xeon E5-2667 v3). It's highest frequency in E5-2600 v4 Family (3.7 GHz Turbo all cores and 3.8 GHz Turbo for 2 cores per CPU)

IMAG2109.thumb.jpg.9fa68610c2bdb18c70aef56073d03622.jpg

And I have a little problem. These CPUs are 165 W TDP and my Intel heatsink fan for Xeon support up to 150 W TDP. So I bought 3x NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 that will put in my case front panel (it will cooler my 2 news CPU and my RTX 3080 Ti Suprim X) and Grizzly Kryonaut.

I think it will OK to cooler my news CPUs 🙂

Got a desk panel thingamajig to better organize stuff on my desk, oh yeah, my surround speaker is usually placed upright, put it lying down just for the pic ...

spacer.png

Also got a small, full metal cabinet to store my external HDDs, 4K Bluray discs and knick-knacks , just took it out of the box, pardon the smudges as my hands aren't as clean as I'd thought.

My latest tech purchase: A Powzan KB770 keyboard. I wanted a quiet, backlit, mac compatible keyboard that wasn't too expensive. I couldn't find much info on the product or company, but I'm pretty happy with it so far. Though the backlight could be better.

Also the first thing I own with RGB.

New Matching Microwave, Toaster and Kettle set from my work.  When they first brought these out a month ago they were £115 for the whole set.  They sold out before i could get one though.  They just brought them back with £11 off the Microwave.  £5 off the Toaster and £6 off the Kettle.  Plus my 20% Staff discount..  They ended up costing me £74.40 for the set 🙂

Figured may as well buy some MORE Dbrand stuff as it's been a hot minute. Got an iPhone 15 pro max coming, and that new clear case Dbrand has is nice, and i've wanted Retro Dark Plates for ages, figured may as well.

Cause you know getting a new 15 Pro Max wasn't enough. Needed a new Apple Watch (Ultra 2) & some new AirPods (Pro 2) to go with it..

IMG_9133.thumb.jpeg.418be5ba487a9951305789e6052202ff.jpeg

Also got some new tool sets. Supercheap Auto had a half price sale last night on the spanner set, so it would be rude not to.. and the socket set was a clearance special, also somewhere around half price.

So I bought a brand new Xbox 360 ethernet cable for no reason other than I'm probably autistic and it's from my favorite console ever made. It even smells the same as how I remember when my family got our Xbox 360 Elite in like 2009-2010.

Also because I have driven 2-3x more than normal in the past 3 weeks thanks to a friends medical fucky-wuckies, the oil change I wanted to do early at 3,000 miles (my "new" car is used and we know the last oil change was overdue) is now technically overdue so I ordered some ERRLLL and a filter and just have to find time to get it done. Hopefully we can get it done before 5,000 miles hits...

Gonna be a main boot drive Formatted to FAT16 for DOS 6.22 install.

Also waiting to buy this, this coming payday:

It's gonna replace the ageing 80GB Seagate in Frog.  I'll get a 32GB CF card too and format it to FAT32 for Windows 98 and such.  The rear port will allow me to switch between the two cards at will

17 euro costing mechanical wireless keyboard. You can see the lower quality in the edges of the keycaps (bottom side) not being as smooth, and I'm sure the switches are lower quality. But amazing quality.

  • Levy's guitar strap. Had one of these for 17 years on one of my guitars and it's still going strong. Tried out a few others over the years on other guitars. Then I said fuck it and now I'm just buying these. Never had anything more comfortable.
  • Boss GE-7 equalizer. Time to get rid of those undesirable frequencies.
  • PRS clip-on tuner, because you always need one.
  • PRS locking tuners. Time to do some DIY. The PRS SE guitars unfortunately all come with standard tuning machines and locking tuners make restringing the guitar easier.

I'm hoping around the time it ships I can also get a cellular Series 9, however hopefully I'll be getting paid better by then because that's a lotta money to drop in a short period of time lol

I wish I could get an S9. Sadly my preference is 45mm cellular... the most expensive one...

I currently have an S5 44mm cellular and it would be fine if it didn't have some screen damage.

Unrelated, I purchased two Xeon W5590s for my Xserve3,1. The increase in base clockspeed will help a lot since I plan to run a small Minecraft server on it (permanently retiring the AM3-based system).

I also got a PCIe x8 to 2x NVMe x4 slot adapter - one for a 512GB NVMe drive that will store all MC server related data, and one open for a drive cache upgrade later - and a replacement slimline optical drive, since the one that came with the server got FedEx'd in shipping.

A Minecraft Pig Mug. I saw this for 6£ at a local store and couldn't resist. It's massive, made of ceramic which makes it a bit heavy and holds a whopping 650-700ml of liquid. The pig mug is oddly difficult to find outside the store I bought it from originally.
