Picked up a couple clean old calculators fairly cheap off eBay the other day (as well as a link cable):

 

 

Still have a bunch of my old programs that saved on my PC from my original 83 that I had back when I was in school.

Came away with 9 quid change in my pocket too so i grabbed lunch XD

It’s moreso that one of those ways isn’t Linux.

this is more convenient than trying to get it working on Linux

haha i feel i've been in the club. Although, i've only recently gotten some prerecorded cassettes, so my collection is quite small. Theres still some more i want. But i do have like 4 decks, most of which are in various states of needing repair, and one walkman i. dont use. I do want a cooler walkman, like that one. But it seems they're going for lots of money, at least a lot more than im willing to spend on a walkman

note the self sharpening lead will leave dust everywhere if you’re someone who clicks their pencils and pens all the time

I speak from experience as someone who refurbishes laptops for fun, just get one of these Walmart driver kits

the red one is 18$ and it’s got everything you’ll ever need and they’re decent quality

the green one lacks the specialty bits and pry tools but it’s 10$ and I use it for basically everything 

these are fantastic kits for the price you pay, these have security torx bits, you can break into anything

I splurged a couple years ago and got a ifixit kit pro tech.

I used to use a single stanley set with random tools from random fix kits

Yeah thats a good compression. I just wanted to know what people think is good.

To be fair I am/ was a pen snob.

I have discovered if I like a pen I will use it for years.

For me those are fisher space pen(which I used for 3-4 years) and pilot g-2's(used for 4+ years).
