What happens when you "reset" your PC?

It turns it off and turns it back on. ._.

Like restart in Windows but instant.

The computer shuts down and starts back up again.  It ain't rocket science my friend.

Basicly just resets the computer to a pre-boot state.

i pressed that button in maker faire last year because i thought it was a fan button :P

i Asked the guy what he did and he said  "its the no-no button! If you press it, i will be really angry"

Instant restart. Useful for getting to the BIOS if you missed it the first time, or selecting boot devices.

not really, it sends a reboot signal,

the effect will be the same as if you'd click the button in windows

I'm might have a bit of pride because I only buy cases without the "restart"-button because I think that it shouldn't need this because my PC don't crash :D . . . .
ok they do, but only when the oveerclocking fails ^^". I just don't like this button, pressed it on my dad's work-pc when I was little . . . man~ was he pissed because his work of severel hours was gone ^^"

....Pressing the reset button is not the same as 'Restart' in Windows..that's a graceful shutdown/reboot action..

Hitting reset is closer to turning off the power and turning it back on again.
