Looking forward to this! Whats currently the cheapest online service that offers GPU time if I wanna boost my numbers?

Honestly, Amazon spot-type services are the cheapest but interruptable and aren't guaranteed. If demand increases your instance get's paused to allow for te higher paying customers do to their thing. Many cloud providers have similar products to help manage demand

Just buy some inno3d 4070tis, they are two slots!

They can't, you bought the entire stock.

As GOT said, Amazon spot instances might be the cheapest. But, iirc Google's gCloud offers spot instances with 300USD free credit for first time users (will require a credit card, and to use gpu instances you will need to upgrade to a pay as you go account where you can still use the credit, but you will run the risk of being charged for it if you go over). Microsoft Azure also offers 200USD credit for first time users (credit card also required), but they tend to have some hidden fees that might eat up at your credit.

Good ol FT-02. I used to have one, although with the windowless side panel. Ended up giving it to someone at Microcenter maybe a year or two ago. Always liked its uniqueness. Also had an FT04 that I ended up giving to a friend. Big fan of Silverstone cases.

It is hard anymore to find a case that can take an optical drive and 4 hard drives.  I think I am going to keep this baby running for a few more years.   I love the rotated layout, I don't have to worry about support for the GPU and because the case is under my desk, the cables coming out of the top are great.   Not to mention it is still one of the top air cooled cases.  I love my Fractal Torrent as well but it doesn't have the drive support of the old Fortress.

I like the Silverstone Alta F2, but I just can't spend 1000 on a case.  I keep thinking I just need to make one myself to get what I want.

Just changed my Folding Username, and resubmitted the form. Is there any reason this would cause any issues? Can always change things back if needed.

Keep in mind that I am sometimes wrong, so please correct me if you believe this is the case!

Or just an optical drive at all.  That's how I ended up with the Fractal Design Focus G, so I could rip UHD Blurays.  I mostly use it to check they aren't defective after finding recent Bluray releases not being as durable as they used to be and have fine scratches from shipping movement.  Also in the hope it has less issues reading any slightly iffy disks so I can at least rip them to my server.

My gaming rig has the be quiet! Dark Base Pro 901 and my spare BD-RW, but putting it on the bottom is a weird design choice given when inverted there would be plenty of room up top.

Being full tower height if you had it on a desk then reaching the front USB ports would be a chore, plus it makes more sense for the built-in QI charger to reach down to put your phone on it, rather than reaching up.

The drive bay honestly feels like an afterthought, when they realised there was tons of space behind the PSU.

I see the following on @LAR_Systems site.  Values seem a little low for 6x 4090 unless they are running under Windows or limiting frequency/power for efficiency.  Rough calculation for Linux would be ~138 M/day Linux or ~101 M/day Windows based on the latest averages (ignoring CPU work).  Wonder if @jakkuh_t is using the Folding in the Dark plugin to add to these statistics.

I suspect also that things get a bit slow between the top of the hour and about 10-15 minutes after the hour when statistics are being collected and possibly other housekeeping is done on the servers. I'd noticed in my Time-of-Use testing that if I configured all my Rigs to start up again at 19:00 EST when the electricity rates get much cheaper here that it could take 5-10 minutes for all slots to finish downloading and start a WU. I adjusted the start time to 18:55 and they seem to start quicker.

He's talking of the F@H "quick return bonus", nothing to do with the event.

Basically on a new folding username/passkey you won't get the bonus (that makes like 90% of the points) for the first 10 WUs, so he was suggesting you get those in before the event starts.

There is a delay of eoc getting the stats from f@h. I don't know if that is because of the cache of f@h. What I usually see is that units that I have submitted 30 min or less before the 3 hour mark are added in the next partial.

My 240 came with MX5, it was only a certain batch from the factory that was defective but they discontinued the product due to bad publicity.

They do seem to have a habit of the box not being correctly labeled though, as mine said it was a v3 so I was confused how to install the AM4 bracket.  Turns out its a v7 which makes a lot more sense given it was AFTER the faulty line.  I guess they just swapped out the new units into the old boxes.

Nice! Hit it (hard) with a Hammer there Spec!

Without going for an EK or AlphaCool AIO that's about the best option short of going Custom Loop.

Bit of a tight fit, as always happens with ITX cases if they had just made it a couple of cm wider it would be a huge improvement.  Though at least it fits a Founders Edition card.

The industrial fan on the exhaust certainly helps with the blocked CPU radiator intake (the PSU intakes from the GPU flowthrough), at the cost of sounding like a data centre.

This is the box primarily responsible for heating upstairs though as its on a shelf in the hallway so I can close my door (my room is downstairs) and barely hear it.
