I haven't ran WCG since they separated from IBM over a year ago. I'd love to go back and plan to if they're online again but right now isn't a great time for me. I'm not in a good position to jack my electric bill up $100 every month. Plus the heat, plus the noise, plus my landlord is already mad about how many I have while they're idling...

You better bet when I come back though I'm gonna come back swinging. E5-2699v3 CPUs are CHEAP and DL380 G9 servers aren't much more expensive. Plus my work can hook me up with free/cheap stuff. I'm gonna build myself a 240V cluster compute node with as many as 400 CPU cores! >:3

Yea I was pretty disappointed that IBM let that happen.  It was one of the cool things to participate in while working for them.  But oh well, glad to see there are still other BOINC projects and groups to help out.

I was running WCG on CPU's before this event and all seemed to be going fine.

Was running a bunch of Einstein since January, but decided to switch over to WCG. They run a lot of Cancer projects that I dent to lean my equipment towards.

Not much of a Gamer….. But I have thing about F@H that may be a little over the top.   See my builds here

PrimeGrid & YoYo

Thanks for your efforts! But unfortunately the PrimeGrid event ended on the 13th - https://www.seti-germany.de/boinc_pentathlon/start.php

Currently we're running the final two events, Yoyo@home and Einstein@home. Both of which end in about 5.5 hours. Any chance you can switch over from PrimeGrid to Einstein?

Einstein is best on GPU. Its recommended to only run "Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1" they run pretty quick. Don't forget to join the team on Einstein if you haven't already.

I just saw this, I'm still sharing my progress before switching
