Truely despisable. And nGreedia got the audacity to have a much slower 4080 and a faster 4080.

It's probably a RTX4060 in disguise.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the benchmark does not seem so bad to me? I guess most people on here agreed that it is really a 4070 in disguise. So a 4070 barely is beaten in performance by the Titan card of the previous gen, which at one point was over 2000 dollars. It does not seem that bad to me, or am I looking at this the wrong way?

That is exactly how Nvidia wants you to see it.

It was also priced just under how much a 3090 Ti can be bought now, which confirms they just priced them to keep all the Ampere’s in direct competition with what Ada offers.

I would even say they would’ve launched the 12GB version in such a limited number that it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, who would’ve preferred it over a 3090 anyway?

The 4080 appeared online for purchase here in Belgium today, at a whopping cost of 1800 euros.

That is 1800 euros...

Yes, you read that right...Ngreedia.

The 4080's have just released for us in New Zealand and it is a complete joke. I bought my Strix 3080 OC 12GB for 1600 NZD; the 4080 16GB equivalent is 3600 NZD. No thanks. I'm about this |--| close to jumping to team red.
