❄ Abstract 760 ❄ Modded components ❄ Glamour shots ❄

I get that!

Yes I've got to finish an episode I stopped midway through yesterday, and quickly

run some games on the new card to see if it's having trouble. I know it may seem

stupid, but I've been hearing a slight buzzing/grinding while booting.

It might be a hard drive, so I wont know unless I run some tests or something, I'll

just wake to having a pretty empty system.

(CURRENTLY FINAL) UPDATE!

I've got the final build done for the moment, and I've got future plans, most
of which will happen after I've gotten rid of this godforsaken desk (images below)

Full size, Super large images before editing.

BauMtfi.jpg

Just taken off the side panel, laying the case down.

That smexy smexy card I want to repaint after I get a better desk.

0pYBNuh.jpg

Red Ram that I will soon double/change

SZ3VyEr.jpg

Heatsink and GPU cable with the LEDs on :D

buvYJOq.jpg

A look at the system with the lights turned on

A8xUe2p.jpg

Cable management, which I personally think is better than before.

ESlZDSz.jpg

Time to add this little badge with the rest of them

ThtTeTq.jpg

There we go, although the Noctua badge looks a lot darker than it is.

pZpX9km.jpg

LED light controller Sata connection and the R4's fan speed controller connections

Sjx3SiU.jpg

Molex, Sata, all that good stuff.

KQQtfcQ.jpg

Graphics card's heatsink from behind the motherboard tray

zeaa8AL.jpg

Little closer to the GPU

jZklXdd.jpg

My storage as of yet. I have plans on either getting a second SSD, or replacing my current Toshiba Harddrive

jH4s5u3.jpg

A nice look at the whole build, ignoring the background I'd say it's a decent picture.

V1dHfOC.jpg

rz0kuLh.jpg

Side panel on, hides all the ugly.

WpMTuOZ.jpg

Here is where it will reside for now, and you'll see just how tight this spot is for this case.

FmRti1a.jpg

vIhldnC.jpg

I swear I was more than happy seeing that this case fit by nearly less than 3mm

5mTWBXj.jpg

tZW6hmz.jpg

Things above my monitors.

Charlie wasn't enjoying this as much as I was. :/

Photo's are nice and Bright.  Plenty of light.. Constructive Criticism ,, Just reduce to say 1024 pixels..  Easier to view and still maintains plenty of detail.

Other than that.. Good Job :)  :)

That dog looks worn out

I'll start resizing.

Also, dog is simply bored/tired; came back from a run a few hours back.

UPDATE DISREGARD THIS POST.

I'll post some of the upgrade plans.

Please note the price is so ridiculous because of the
soon to be coming Lian Li DK-10X.

CPU Cooler: Swiftech H320 55.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Because the desk supports it, and it would be nice
to have a nice and cold CPU.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($239.98 @ Newegg Canada)
    EATX because why not?

Case/Desk: Lian Li DK10X case (~$987.99)
I'm looking for a desk replacement, and I can't see
inside my current case where it is, so I'd be saving
some money instead of buying a desk.

Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory  ($186.48 @ Newegg Canada)
The  motherboard  has  orange  accents, and  my
current red G.Skill X memory wont do.

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4GB Superclocked ACX Video Card  ($339.64 @ Amazon Canada)
This  will  be a much  later upgrade, because  my
parents  wont see why I should  get SLI right after
replacing my single 460 with a single much better.

Optical Drive: Samsung SN-208DB/BEBET DVD/CD Writer  ($24.99 @ Canada Computers)
I'm getting a 5.25" slim because the desk supports
it,  and   it  could  be   useful  in  the future. This  is
optional  for  now,  as  everything will be  bought at
    different times.

Headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Headphones  ($179.99 @ Memory Express)
Because these are good over ear headphones
that will replace my current in-ear sony earbuds.

Keyboard: Corsair RGB k70 cherry MX Brown
Because I've gotten complaints of how loud blues are.
My  current keyboard  would  be  going to my brother,
as he enjoys the mechanical experience, and it would
be silly buying him a completely new one.

Total: ~$2000

My current Case, Memory, Motherboard, and
CPU Cooler would be given to my brother,
including the keyboard mentioned above.

UPDATE!

So I've just spent the last 5 hours painting.

I'd like to thanks @Hanoverfist for answering my questions one which paint I should use!

So, I'm sure you're wondering what I spent 5 hours painting, so here are some photos to please.

oDThv2X.jpg

Woah, is that..?

sbOnMLv.jpg

MlXeOfP.jpg

Yeah, a little scuff in the bottom right where a fly got on it.

ISR0ezG.jpg

But this is what I'll be seeing in my computer in a while, as I'm going to purchase a new desk very, very soon.

wzyDEQp.jpg

The PSU's Yellow, and a little peak at the Red memory that will be being replaced sooner or later.

Oh, I forgot to post the process.

x3Zo3EQ.jpg

So the proccess didn't go anything like how Tek Syndicate did it, as I had
to take apart the ENTIRE THING, which was actually a blessing that I'll
explain near the end of this post.

zLLvedd.jpg

First Coat of Krylon Fusion paint, looking as it should...

T05Ysln.jpg

2nd coat of paint, getting somewhere I believe.

ZcptPAD.jpg

After somewhere over 8 coats, I got here.

So, continuing from way up, the benefits of opening my GPU completely..

I had to replace the thermal paste, and I managed to improve heat performance by 3*C!

Woot for me!

Canada is fun.

Don't worry it's the same in the Netherlands, the only difference I see ATM is the internet speed ^^

UPDATE!

So I painted the memory today, and I have to say it looks much better than before.

bu8pGYp.jpg

First couple coats.

5khsKui.jpg

Some more coats. Not the last, by the way. I had to add a bunch more later to try to hide the stickers.

gJBAsJf.jpg

In the PC! Looks a lot better than before.

Did you intentionally go for an orangy looking yellow on the ram or didn't you have the patience to put as many coats as on the CG?

Anyway it looks great! :)

Moar painting, moar good looking stuff!
