❄ Abstract 760 ❄ Modded components ❄ Glamour shots ❄

Did you intentionally go for an orangy looking yellow on the ram or didn't you have the patience to put as many coats as on the CG?

Anyway it looks great! :)

Moar painting, moar good looking stuff!

The final picture of that ram laying there was not the final coat, it was the 8th.

Ow, wow, it's strange how painting on metal looks so much different... That's how you know builds like the Green Manalishi or Brandywine or even Electric Orange are done by a very good painter, judging by the exact same looks he gets from his paint on plastic and metal. @Hanoverfist wink wink =)

I must say that you put lots more effort than I ever did in a build than I ever did, and it looks fantastic, your effort were worth it :)

+1 for the painted yellow memory, matches very well with your GPU.

The effort was all wasted on removing the heatsinks off the RAM, which trust me, is nothing like how @Hanoverfist 's special 'for me' video went.

Dayum this is coming out really awesome! Nice job Rumi

looks great, good work.

Thanks.

On a side note, I've got plans on buying another pair of the RAM and either painting it yellow again, or buying some white paint and using that to have a nice contrasting colour.

Yes indeeeeeed.

What are peoples thoughts on doubling the memory, but painting the other set white?

Same thought with the GPU, getting a second one eventually, but painting it white instead of Yellow?

Do you need more memory? If you do, go for it. I think that white rams and white GPU would look so smooth with yellow parts that you have already. If you have the budget and willing to do the work, just go for it, it will look awesome. imo

I don't really need more Memory, but I want to fill out my empty slots with the white RAM.

As for the GPU, I plan on buying that some time next year.

Would be nice if noctua had options for color.

IKR, like some rigs we could paint, or have the fans separate like the bitfenix spectre pro fans do. Anything to help us, be able to make them match our systems.

Are you gone paint the noctua fans?

Wouldn't that ruin the airflow?

Indeed, I would very much like that.

What are people's thoughts on these?

I'm just asking, but if they are any good, I'll consider them.

Is there a really good Heatsink fan I could consider? (Not noctua)

Noiseblockers are pretty awesome, and I have also had good experience with some Cougar Vortex HDBs (Orange) which had a little bit of PWM Whine but were fine when I just used them as 3 pin only. I would also normally recommend be quiet! fans as well, but they have pretty limited mounting options for heatsinks.

EDIT: Those SilenX can't be that bad considering they are FDB.

So I could get these as Case fans.

And I could get this as my Heatsink Fan?

Or are they both PWM?

Either way, I really like the look of these fans, and I'm

interested in these as I've seen tons of people using

them in their builds.

Normaly not if the Coating isn't to thick and it's Nice and smooth it would be just fine.

More fan questions!

Some Yellow fans

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11111/fan-709/Akasa_120mm_x_25mm_Viper_PWM_Fan_w_Hydro_Dynamic_Bearings_AK-FN059.html#blank

All of the reviews are really good, so my question is if this would be good for 3-6 Case fans.

Would this fan be any good for my EVO 212?

If not, I'll just get Gentle Typhoons.

https://www.dazmode.com/store/product/scythe_gentle_typhoon_2150rpm_69cfm_30db_fan/

And maybe attempt to paint the blades.
