Anime Club - Heaven Society

Ended up watching Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary) over the weekend. It started out promising, but ended in a shambles.

 

I will probably rate it 5/10. Initial score was much higher, but it just went down, down, and down the more time passed.

That's generally how it is with pretty much any anime based on a light novel/manga that isn't finished or simply has too many volumes to fit in a season or two, though. So seen that way, the ending it got was good. At least it didn't leave you wondering WTF was going on, like how Umineko No Naku Koro Ni never actually got the much needed Answer Arc second season.

watch turn a gundam cause why not watch it and went WTF thats not from turn a gundam. looked at the lore and went WTF even more. turn a gundam time line makes no sense. if you ask me i perfer the seed timeline.

cause physics time paradox totally makes sense.... oh anime.

i thought it'll be filled with melodrama, but it was surprisingly tame. plus the parents played an unusually large role. that doesn't happen often

I'm not into anime much but a friend convinced me to watch HxH, epiosde 35 now and Nen is a well thought out power system, getting good.

HxH in this case probably refer to Hunter X Hunter, I don't believe there's much "sex appeal" in that.

I've recently discovered I like some anime movies, but I'm not great at finding good ones. So far the anime I have watched and liked are kimi no nawa, koe no katachi, and anohana the flower we saw that day. I've looked quite a bit for similar movies and series but I haven't liked most of them, can someone help me find similar movies or shows (preferably movies) similar to those?

And I understand, I like Shana, can't keep watching for as long as I can Guilty Crown. Or Robotech. Or Strike Witches.
