Watching To LOVE-RU

Yeah... you really do have to turn your brain off... a bit more than you'd think.

edit- ended up dropping it

It was the first one of those kinds of shows that I watched, the jokes were funny for the first couple of episodes but they got old quick for me.

I think I'm losing certain frequencies in my right headphone. I tried upping the volume for the right but it still feels off balance. Anyone got $100-range recommendations so I can start saving?

How about a cheap pair of superlux headphones? They tend to be quite similar to higher priced headphones that they "imitate", as such, replacement parts are quite easy to find since the headphones they are based on tend to also be popular.

Like the superlux HD-681 (or HD-681EVO for the "semi-open" type if you prefer that to open back), which I believe is based around the AKG K240.

https://www.thomann.de/gb/superlux_headphones.html

(you can also get them elsewhere, bought mine on ebay for example)

I personally have the HD-660, with earpads from the DT770 for extra comfort.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

I'm using Hyper X Cloud right now which are closed(?). I don't know how different open would be.

The biggest difference is that if there are others in the room, they will be able to hear whatever it is you're listening to.
Other than that, there's things like "clearer natural sound" and other such things that audiophiles like to throw around.

It's more of a atmospheric thing, I wouldn't say clearer natural sound. Essentially it feels more like your at the location of a orchestral performance than when using a closed back. Pros and cons to both.

This current season does feel somewhat lackluster in big "hits" that doesn't cater to a specific audience.

Have you seen Youjo Senki ?

I have.

It's not even the current season that is bugging, I've found like 6 of those to watch. I just can't find anything to binge watch.

I'm reading manga. And if anime goes with the story of manga don't expect second season to be as good as the first.

Sorry for bad Ingrish

For this season I would recommended Isesekai Shokudou(Restaurant to another world) or New Game S2 (if you have watched season 1) both are very enjoyable anime.New Game has some fan service tho.

fan service is special scenes or shots aimed mostly to male audience, like boob physics from High School of the dead or pantsushots (which are common in New Game).

This gives them more views, more popularity, that leads to better ratings and more money. So its not weird from this point of view.
