so rich buys a power supply just for the fan grill lol  :P

 

I might get the power supply just to test my loop and then put the grill on my PC :P

lol That's what I did, I bought a cheapish PSU with the rest of my WC stuff and took than fan grill off.

To anyone who reads this, what do you think about not covering the entire bottom? The run cutout is super difficult, especially with a box cutter lol. It would end right where the cutout would begin, so right about at that fitting on top of the pump.

I covered the entire bottom on mine, but yea, it's tricky. You need to cut out around the psu area and make notches for some bulgy rivets.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to make it cover the PSU and about half of the pump, it's just too hard the other way without a saw.

I got the midplate done! Too bad I couldn't span it across the entire bottom of the case, but without some sort of saw it was impossible to get the cutout done.

Update:

 

I got the PSU plate done and installed, now I just want to try out putting a white acrylic piece over the motherboard I/O since it's so silver and that VGA connector is ew. I should have it done tomorrow. I also might want to make a stencil and put "Black Pearl Ice" or something on the side panel, what do you think?

Update:

 

I found some white electrical tape for the motherboard heatsinks, it looks pretty great and even allows the Gigabyte logo to come through a little, but I need to cut it a little so it doesn't look half-ass. I also used it on my pump and it looks really nice!

 

I didn't have time for the I/O cover today, but I should have it done tomorrow or the next day. Here are the pictures!

Does the Kingston ram light up? I was thinking of getting some for an upcoming build.

Thanks. The RAM doesn't light up, but if you really wanted to you could get an LED from FrozenCPU and use that somehow.

Yeah, they're matte, but when you shine light at them they reflect more than you'd think.
