Youtube is asking for CAPTCHA's now.

I only watch 2 or 3 YT videos a week, many times less than that. I clicked on a video today and was prompted to do a CAPTCHA. What's going on, has anyone else had this? This is what it said:
"Sorry for the interruption. We have been receiving a large volume of requests from your network.

To continue with your YouTube experience, please fill out the form below."

Are you using a VPN to access YouTube? Cause if you are that's probably what's causing it.

A VPN could be causing that message like @jrhaberland suggested. Also, if you're using a shared internet connection, such as in a school or office, you might also get that sort of message if there are enough clients on the network.

It will ask that to if it thinks you might be a bot. If you're using a VPN that might be it, I get increased captcha's depending on which server I connect to. Otherwise it may just be a random captcha. The more human it thinks you are the quicker you are allowed through.

Nothing new. I use to get CAPTCHA all the time

I don't have YouTube premium but I never had CAPTCHA on YouTube (I watch YouTube every day)

i always get captcha bec i use vpn
it can be for a security upgrade rules or updaates

I only get captchas on google services when using Tor. So you're either using a VPN, or there is suspicious activity that triggers it.

Nope and I use AdBlockerPro on Firefox and no Captcha's or Ads for me.  Plus VPN as well.

I have never experienced that, I do not use VPN, but I do use Privacy Badger.
