  1. Good day! I built my pc around a month ago and have been using it seriously today to install drivers. I checked up on my hardware temps and saw one core on my 5800x is abnormally high compared to the others. Would you say this is a bug of OpenHardwareInfo? Should I reapply thermal compound? Any other monitoring programs you know to isolate the variable? All the best and thank you, Alex
  2. PLEASE HELP GUYS! WINDOWS FORMATTED MY HARD DRIVE BECAUSE I BOOTED INTO IT INSTEAD OF MY SYSTEM DRIVE. IT DELETED EVERYTHING AND HAS ALL THE WINDOWS INSTALL FILES IN THERE NOW, PLEASE HELP HOW DO I FIX THIS! I STILL SEE THE PINNED FOLDERS AND LEFT OVER FOLDERS I HAVE FROM THE QUICK START MENU WHEN I LOG IN FROM THE CORRECT DRIVE PLEASE HELP!!!!!
  3. It worked. Neither my 6pin nor Ram were inserted deep enough. I find out that the non latch side of the ram needs to click too, and that the 6 pin can be stuffed in deeper than it feels. Thanks for the help. I need your advice on another thing, however. Windows formatted my 3TB hard drive as a boot drive. I’ve lost all my files on it. It claimed it as the local disk and wiped everything. Any remedies on what I should do do get my data back? Anything? thank you for everything
  4. Remember to get an IPS panel with good color gamut. I recommend Logitech G815. It is a wired, low profile keyboard with aluminum front. G915 is good if you want wireless. It’s brushed aluminum for the front. The keyboard is also RGB with a wide range of macros and modes. congrats and have fun building your new pc! Mine some crypto while you’re at it! Lol
  5. No. It only uses the m.2 slot. Should I try to switch out the ram sticks again?
  6. I can, and I did for Zen 3 compatibility. Should I?
  7. Yeah I turned it on, but it formatted my hard drive accidentally. I put it in for data recovery, didn’t want to go through with it, and now it’s back. 8. Hey guys, I tried to boot my PC today after leaving it unplugged for around 3 weeks. I installed an extra M.2. Drive a couple days before. The computer is not posting and my cases storage led was red. I removed the m.2 and retried. It said it had a VGA error, and I reinserted the graphics card. Pins are in, etc. However, right now the DRAM led is on and I can’t find a remedy for it. My RAM has LEDS on it, 2x8, and when I insert both in, only one LED lights up. No power is supplanted to the single channel stick, either. This is so strange. On
  9. Bombastinator you were right. My GPU had to just be reinserted. I often overlook the most trivial solutions in conclusion to crack at the most difficult problems. Turns out it was easy. Thanks for everything!
  10. SOLUTION: I HAD TO REINSTERT MY GPU. I TOOK IT OUT OF THE PCIe SLOT AND REINSERTED IT. IT WORKS NOW. TAKE A LOOK AT THE REST OF THE THREAD. REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE FLASHING YOUR BIOS, DO NOT UNPLUG OR INTERRUPT THE UPDATE OR YOU CAN DESTROY YOUR MOTHERBOARD. I LOVE YOU GUYS
  11. I tried using my 16G flash drive. Still nothing. I don't know if this is normal or not, but the monitor turns on like it is ready for something when I start the computer, but it recieves no signal whatsoever. Could it be my graphics card?
