So I was watching a vlog by youtube.com/mrthaivlog123 and in the coment section a random comment popped up my attetion:

went to investigate if it was actually linus because of the childish comment and found out it was a fake: http://www.youtube.com/user/DedicatedDeanMC

 

i've tweeted linus already but i decided to post this here to so that the mods can allert him.

you can rename google+ channels to anything you want

He did try to mimic the LTT logo on his channel page but clearly it is illegitimate because the image is pixelated and it is advertising you to buy a NUC and get $25 of PlanetSide 2 stuff, and I don't think @LinusTech actually did something like that.

Hey @TyagoDani


Thanks for noticing this. However, if you really think there's an issue
that LTT should be aware of, creating a thread about it on the forums
isn't really the most efficient way of doing that. Instead, in the future,
I recommend just sending a PM to Linus and/or Slick about it.


@ Rest: Don't post if all you have to say are insults to OP. If you think
this shouldn't have been posted, at least be polite and respectful about
it if you really wish to say so, otherwise move on and and just let the

thread die. Thanks! :)


I'm locking this thread since there isn't really much point to it anymore.
