Am i the only one that thinks the new mac pro is a nice looking pc?

julekule

how many 265 hav been running at 100% since they got them. and yes geforce cards dies faster then quadro cards

Who runs Quadro's a 100% all the time? Nobody does.

If you're a big render, you likely have a rendering farm of computers or a network rendering program.

it is a big fan. have u even heard the mac pro

I don't care how big it is. I had a box fan that couldn't cool 2 R9 280X's with a good 4 inches between each card. Size means nothing

And yes, I have heard of the Mac pro.

Plenty of people render on their GeForce cards over night and those don't die out. GPU's don't generally die out, no matter what you have. If it dies, it has problems to begin with

Dyslexia you can't fix, but you can still speak English especially coming from Norway. Don't you notice Google Chrome's underlining over ever word you misspell?

Ah .. the typical "ive lost an argument so im going to comment on his spelling and grammar".

but if they dident have the inndent the fan would be visible

They could have pushed it the other way so it stuck up, or had a flat mech across the top.

I don't like the form factor at all, but I appreciate it for what it is.

If I had a 3k budget, I would build what I need and want, that's the difference I see in it. A workstation like the Mac Pro is not what I need or want, that's for an audience with different uses from a gamer or video editor.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I read every post @julekule posted as if it was correct... xD I'm dyslexic too, and a second language spelling I tell you is a real bitch bro, but anyways, I still think for a general consumer the Mac Pro is a waste of money, but professionals on the other hand that don't want the bother of having to make their own PC or don't have time too and need the functionality and can throw cash at their work stations, why not... BUT this is hardly ANYONE in the general consumer market that needs this type of power.

oh and p.s. I really don't like the way it looks... but I know lot's of people that do like it xD

I'm out. ;)

haha yeah sorry about that xD I wanted to add more ;)

oh and also.... htt hmm

Dyslexia is the most common cause of reading, writing and spelling difficulties.

source:

http://www.learning-inside-out.com/dyslexia-statistics.html

and also me ;)

but it really does depend upon the person, on a case to case basis, for example my sister is absolutely fine when it comes to spelling, but other things not so much :)

it's not just these three things that it effects in a person but that's the basis of it...

It looks OK. I see mostly a trash can when I see it but its a reasonable looking trashcan. My concern really with the machine is the thermal throttling and the price. Its pretty expensive considering the hardware it has, very easy to make a machine with similar capabilities for less and do so without having the thermal problems that this design brings. The very fact that everything is custom and packed in also removes all the upgrade ability of a desktop by replacing all the normally replaceable parts with custom ones. I don't think this specialist non replaceable parts are a good future for the PC.

I'll say... it looks like a really pretty trash can!

(really though the design ain't that bad, I'd take a normal case over it though.

I think that the design/formfactor is interesting but it doesn't fit anywhere like a classic tower.

Ignoring pricing and other schtuff, it's quite the attention grabber. It's new and unique and that's why I like it.
