What are some lesser known hardware manufacturers that have good quality items?

Ugreen, TaoTronics, Aukey, though those have all been mentioned already.

 

GSkill is highly underrated for keyboards. Their KM780 is significantly better than the Corsair K70 I had before it.

Tt eSPORTS is also highly underrated. Their mice designed in collaboration with BMW are simply fantastic.

I'd say Sycthe for air coolers. They are inexpensive and can keep up with coolers twice their cost from the likes of Noctua and Be Quiet!

PNY, their cards might not be the fanciest looking things or have all the bells and whistles that brands like ASUS or Gigabyte have, but the are a good brand.

XFX for AMD GPUS

geil for ram. (ram companies really don't matter but at least geil isn't someone who is likely to go under in 6 months)

I can think of a few manufacturers who were pretty popular back in the day but you rarely hear from them anymore, at least in North America:

  • Fujitsu
  • Toshiba
  • Vaio
  • NEC

They all still make some pretty nice stuff, just not as widely available in North America anymore.

their X300 like is great

and their N300 nas line is good
