how my rx 580 is managing to pull 240w while only at 1340mhz, sure ive seen my rx 580 hit 270w before, but 240w while only at 1340mhz, you gotta admit, thats in its own category of impressive

I'm not denying that, but that comes down to particular workloads and the optimisations that the developers have made.  In cases where both CUDA and OpenCL are properly supported CUDA doesn't have any real edge, but because most of the compute workloads out there are already optimised for CUDA rather than OpenCL

Eh, a lot of that was people getting mad that they said it, not because it was believed.

well no the nvidia supports cuda better and there are ides and development kits available to public so you have amd to blame not devs and cuda cores are better in parallelized workloads

if it was useful give it a like :) btw if your into linux pay a visit here

that can not compete with cuda and tenser 

sure low power draw is impressive but HOW CAN THAT COMPETE WITH THESE

Why do people keep bringing up drivers. Historically Nvidia and AMD are the same. They both have had shit and great drivers. Multiple channels have done extensive testing. It's almost all anecdotal evidence and myths people hear from placed like PCMR
